Is there a code to uniquely identify each individual tile

My copy of the Big Box from Rio Grande came with a tile overview sheet which had a letter code to uniquely identify each individual tile.  (A through X for the basic game, B8A through B8L for Bridges etc.)

Is there any such list for all of the expansions.  The notation used in the CAR  does not always work as sometimes CFFC  refers to 2 castles and 1 field or 2 fields and 1 castle.

I'd like to see these codes added to the next CAR. I can't confirm this, but suspect that the number might somehow correspond to the printing layout, in which case it might be possible to deduce codes for other expansions not included there?

At CarcF (Carcassonne-Forum) we have all the lists for the tiles from all the Carcassonne games and expansions and special editions...

...refers to 2 castles and 1 field or 2 fields and 1 castle.

Careful, Castles are Castles and Cities are Cities.  :P
I just drew the perfect tile for my MonKnighThieFarmer!
