So far I have printed the image on “photo supreme high gloss” paper, and the only thick cardboard I have found is the backing for a pad of legal paper, but that cardboard is not as firm as Tiles and will be just a tad too thin, so still looking for the best backing. I do own an X-ACTO paper trimmer that should do the proper job of trimming the final product to the exact size of 6 tiles by 4 tiles.
I’ll post a picture of our first final game board as soon as we create one!
I think my next “job” will be to recreate the JPG image with edge copies of current tiles, bring it up from C1 to C2! Being 74 and very happily retired, I hated to use that word in quotes!
PS: One of the official rules we will have to implement will be that you can’t use a Tower Floor to capture a meeple from the score board
