What happens with the Spiel tile 2021? In 2020 it was on 5 October (https://www.carcassonnecentral.com/community/index.php?topic=4816.0).

It’s released at Essen SPIEL. Last year the festival was moved online so the promos weren’t announced the same way. You’ve got to wait for the festival to start and for someone to post this year’s (hopefully last) promo tile.

Why last?
It's one of the motivation to go to Essen. HiG will be mad to stop to stop it.

We don't know if next week the Spiel'21 tile will be available on CundCo. In early December it will be available for sure.

In december it's +- arround 6th December. Which is celebrating St. Nicolaus and children are getting sweets to their boots or "coal and onion, depends if they were good or bad onver the last year. So it's small "gift" for us.

A small gift that requires a minimum €20 purchase. This has gotten harder and harder to meet since shipping for the maps is a fortune and I already own every game component for Carcassonne. Every year it’s another struggle to get up to €20 (+shipping that often costs the same or more), all so I can get one tile. That’s why I hope this is the last year of Spiel tiles. They’re so exploitative. Maybe for Germans everything is cheap and easy, but shipping internationally has increased substantially over the past year and I can’t keep trying to find enough stuff to buy each year.

Same feeling for me... Is there no other way to share those tiles?
And why not a partnership with one (or several) fan site(s) dedicated to this game and its expansions, during a game over the festive season and promoting the collection with why not possible interactions, etc.? Do you see where I'm going with this?

Looks nice, but sadly not very creative as the design is very similar to the 2014 tile.

And there's no fancy bridge or grass spot to make us ask tons of questions to HiG
