Board game shops in Berlin
« on: January 12, 2016, 05:55:39 AM »
Hi all, and especially to our German friends  :green-meeple:

I will be in Berlin this weekend. Are there any great board game shops that I should visit? I'm not looking for any games or expansions in particular but, having said that, I am always on the look-out for rare Carcassonne expansions (CC1, Cathars, Tunnels etc).

Thanks!

The clasic base game of Carcassonne at Karstadt for 12,99 EURO (this was here in my town) and Karstadt is in many towns of Germany.

The rare expansions? my answer: in the homes of many Carcassonne fans but not for selling only in their own collection...

German eBay suggests otherwise...

Yes, but I don't think that jungleboy likes to pay so much money for these rar mini-expansions. And he doesn't need to go to Berlin if he likes to buy a mini-expansion at eBay.de.

I'm just looking for an independent game store that might have a few hidden surprises, that's all. You know, the kind of shop that has lots of old comics/magazines, maybe some second-hand games etc. Once in Barcelona I found such a store and they had a copy of the GQ11 magazine on the shelf.
