So I've been absent both from here and Playing Carcassone for a while for a few reasons that I wont get into here, but I've recently had the capacity to get back into playing board games and of course, Carcassonne. And I've recently aquired two lovely new editions to my small but growing Carcassonne collection;

A Base Game in C3 from Carcassonne itself, and 999 Games' Carcassonne De Mist that arrived this morning, and I can already say it is a blast to Solo!

Got a parcel in from Sweden today!

This is the 2019 2nd edition C2 base game from Bergsala Enigma. Didn't know it existed until i stumbled upon it, so of course had to get it

I've also added it to the WICA Collections&Expansions page, so i could tick it off my list

The postwoman brought me a box of dice from Chessex today!

A set of regular and percentile d10’s in the six basic colours for my C3 set, plus full sets of percentile d10’s to upgrade my C1 and C2 sets. Not sure why I didn’t order the additional colours for my C3 set, because I am planning to order meeple sets soon.

I also ordered some new pink d10’s to replace the light purples in my C1 and C2 sets, which aren’t close enough to the meeple colour for my liking.

More like 4 weeks for me, but still happy to get Ukraine and Taiwan maps and the Ukraine tiles. For other US members, I bought a few additional Ukraine tiles since already paying through the nose for map shipments. Will offer to mail in the US for $8/each, which represents my actual cost for tiles including the cost of shipping spread across my maps and tiles.

Well I find the mechanics of them both a challenge and novelty. When I get one I look forward to solving the problem it poses, whilst also dreading that I have to solve it. Plus having to Bury a Meeple Once it's finished is a heartache...

Received two more D10 percentile dice from TheDiceShopOnline.com in brown. It was so underwhelming that I forgot to take a photo. Not sure why I didn't order enough for C3, because now I need to place another order. This month has already been too expensive, so I made myself a shopping list for next month.
