In your opinion (I stress this word as many of you will differ, hopefully not resulting in arguments!), which tile do you think is probably one of the best? This could be one that always scores big points, is the best 'space filler', is one that you always love having or is the best for some other reason(s).
For me , it would have to be the Halfling monastery as this can be used in so many places to not only open up fields, but also to score an easy 9 points without anyone really predicting your move!

In a base game only, the cloister with a road is an easy way to join farm fields and often is more useful than the cloister itself. Me like. :yellow-meeple:

Something similar (http://www.carcassonnecentral.com/community/index.php?topic=1178.0) was discussed earlier.

CRRF or CFRR - It's an underrated diverse tile :(y)
-
I always confuse those two and have a lot of trouble rotating them in my head. This happened in our game tonight too.
-
hehe; yes! Because there's only 3 of each they can be a good trap-shape too.
-
It's hard to pick one up, but this time I'll go with a joker crop circle tile from halflings. Having one at your disposal during the game gives you an awesome diversity and strategic play at will :orange-meeple:

I'm suprised someone hasn't tried to make an amazing tile, but it all depends on the specific game and what your aim is (farmers, abbots, city domination or longest road (robber and baron) or collecting resources)
-
The "robber and baton" sounds brilliant! :)) :(y)

Oops! Just made the change. Then again, coild incorporating a relay style variation into Carcassonne could be the next big thing? Batons at the ready!
-
Hehe, or police with sticks that chase robbers!
-
Interesting... would the police be dressed like highwaymen?
