Hello,
I have just noticed that there are at least two different Carcassonne Winter-Edition German boxes, one has 2020 copyright and the other 2022 and there's a reference on the right LFCACA203 vs LFCACC209 I suppose the content is the same.

There are even more different winter editions: check them out here:

The WICA is the place where you find (almost) everything concerning Carcassonne  :D

"This re-release is distinguished by the community as "WE2". Up to this point, the game had been sold exclusively through Müller, but in 2022 it was announced that other retailers would now be permitted to sell the Winter Edition, and the "WE2" edition was reprinted in greater quantities."
Could it meen that copyright 2020 -> Müller exclusive and copyright 2022 -> reprint?

The right box has both Abbot and River and has a different part number HIGD0508 vs 0506.
Annoyingly, amazon.de's Hans Im Gluck store isn't showing that number, otherwise I would buy it and have it shipped to the USA.

Hmmmm nice, thank you @kheller2 that numbering HIGD0508 vs 0506, could be very usefull informationn when buying, since my next hunt is 2020 Winter edition and I want that exact one, because I find it most beautiful.
When I play with my friends we don't use official instantly occupy and score rule for cities/roads, we find that too easy, you first need to add tile to unoccupied city/road, place your meeple and than score it in next turn. It causes massive changes for all expansions but that's the way we like it

Does anyone know if Winter V3 is coming to North America anytime?  I'm tempted to just buy the German version, but it goes in and out of stock, and we won't talk bout shipping costs.  With the rebranding/doing/publishing coming in September, I figure we won't see any of that goodness States side until 2026, maybe.

The only thing holding WE3 back from being published in North America is Asmodee, and it has nothing to do with anything happening in the future. They are notoriously late on releasing new Carcassonne products in North America. It seems to take a few years and a lot of badgering them on social media before anything finally happens.
