I've been meaning to do this for ages but haven't had the chance until today when I got to spend an hour or so sorting through my Carcassonne stuff.
I've taken some photos below to show off my recently completed (thanks to Decar) collection of teacher meeples. I thought it was complete ages ago, but then I discovered that teachers were also available in purple and black! :o

I've mixed them in with some phantoms of the same colour to show off the differences between them (namely that teachers are slightly thicker and are clear from front to back and only coloured at the sides).

Very nice, thanks for sharing the picture Dan! How did you or Decar manage to find the black and purple teachers?
I have been looking everywhere for a black one - if anyone could help me find it I would really appreciate it! I'd very happily buy or trade for it if anyone has one. :black1-meeple:

How did ... Decar manage to find the black and purple teachers?
I'm not sure, he just seems to have a knack for spotting things on BGG and eBay. He certainly has much more of a flare for it than I do anyway. I'm sure if you asked him nicely he could keep an eye open for you... O:-)

I have been looking all over BGG, eBay, etc. but without any luck so far. Decar, if you would be willing to keep an eye out as well I would really appreciate it!

Now the real question is what happens when 6 teachers take on 6 phantoms in a brawl :(y) :(y)

Teachers appear similar as most of their students act as if they are not even there, however they actually do have substance. The phantoms on the other hand are ghosts. Although scary, they have no way of actually punching , kicking, scratching or indeed having those things done to them.
Therefore I conclude that phantoms would win as they are ethereal and would not get injured, tired, or be bothered in anyway by the brawl. The teacher, whilst swinging wildly trying to make contact with ghosts would inevitably make contact with something of more substance therefore be caused injury.

You are to be commended for your efforts Rosco. That was the most merit-worthy thing I have read here in a long time. :(y)
I also think the phantoms would win on account of the teachers being fatter and therefore out of shape and not able to fight for very long anyway.

It's a good argument Rosco, but the way I look at it, the teachers will have used their superior intellect to avoid getting killed. Phantoms have clearly died once already, so really they already lost once. Perhaps Phantoms are ex-teachers?

But the phantoms will have learnt from their mistakes and so will be better prepared to avoid being killed again. Can we be so sure that the teachers will be able to avoid making these same mistakes?

but maybe this will make the Phantoms reckless, because they think they can't be killed again.

I've contacted him a while ago, it's an old photo they have reused many times. Good luck though.
