This is what we got:
https://www.carcassonnecentral.com/community/index.php?topic=4927.msg72665#msg72665

The following sentence is the key to everything:
Quote
You always score the abbot (on the feature) never the feature itself.

This means no majority applied when removing and scoring the abbot.

I sent this question to HiG in 7/2021 so they could double confirm. Still waiting for an answer as you may imagine. :-\
Ok, thanks.

I wanted to know if the fact that majority is not applicable when removing the abbot in step 2. (2 and/or 3A?) is officially confirmed. I do not find nothing about this at https://wikicarpedia.com/index.php/The_Abbot#Footnotes.

I do not think that this is C3. Just modified C2. Before passing to C3, HiG has to convert to C2 Wind Roses, The School, Wheel of Fortune, Besiegers, The Phantom and even The Catapult (improbabil), The Plague (improbabil), The Tunnel (improbabil), Little Buildings (improbabil), Darmstadt Promo (improbabil), Crop Circles I (improbabil) and Games Quarterly #11 (improbabil). Also, HiG has to launch the 7th expansion for C2.

If 2 red meeples are on a monastery and also the blue abbot, if the blue abbot is removed in step 2., the blue player still receives points?

Yes, removing the abbot has nothing to do with scoring a feature, so it does not take majority into consideration. When removing the abbot you are scoring the figure, not the feature.

Hi Ireneu,

Welcome to the forums. Hope you enjoy browsing all the stuff available...

Regarding your question, I agree with you in how the various scenarios would work... Flying Machines can lead to having several meeples (including abbots) placed on a monastery or on a garden. In this case abbots can benefit from partial scoring even not having the player the majority. When completed (or if incomplete at the end of the game), monasteries and gardens with several meeples would score applying the majority rule.

This is not covered in the official rules but it sounds right based on the current rules. I added some notes to WICA just to reflect this situation. Please check footnotes #10 in The Abbot:

http://wikicarpedia.com/index.php/The_Abbot

...and footnote #8 in C2 Flying Machines:

http://wikicarpedia.com/index.php/The_Flier

...and footnot #9 in C1 Flying Machines:

http://wikicarpedia.com/index.php/The_Flier_(1st_edition)

Best regards!
The 3 points bonus is still not applied when removing the abbot in step 2.?

We don't know yet. Question sent to HiG on 7/2021 but no answer yet.

The 3 points bonus is still not applied when scoring the acrobat pyramid in step 2. or during final scoring?

We don't know yet. Question sent to HiG on 11/2021 but no answer yet.

To check:
https://wikicarpedia.com/index.php/The_Abbot#cite_note-13: Need update.
https://wikicarpedia.com/index.php/Under_the_Big_Top#Acrobat_tiles_and_acrobats
https://wikicarpedia.com/index.php/The_Princess_and_The_Dragon#Fairy
Also some footnotes from Exp. 3 and 10 need to be checked.

I'm waiting fo the answers to be able to provide an official answer to all these questions dangling around for almost a year now.

Officially confirmed?

Maybe WICA could contain some IconPadlock footnotes for the 3 points bonus.

I am surprised that there is so little content in German, as German is the original language of Carcassonne rules.

I'm not surprised. Due to, original rules are in german. So german players have "core" rules directly in their boxes.

Do they miss missing rules for interactions? Maybe then don't cares. There are very string strict. If there is written, that this mini is only for basic game, they play it only with basic game. I was there for a while. Rules are rules and they have to be followed.
Is there any gap? Find way in rules and not balance on borders, because you can fall.
"This expansion has been developed for the Carcassonne basic game. All the basic game rules still apply in addition to the expansion rules below. You can combine it with other expansions - but at your own risk – that is, there will be no official rules for these combinations."
"You can combine it with other expansions" means that combining with other expansions is officially allowed, but "there will be no official rules for these combinations" only means that HiG will clarify those interactions when and only if it wants.

It's a bit of both.
The contents are in terms of playing basically the same as BB6. Base game, expansions 1 and 2, and the 7 mini's (+ river and abbot of course)

However, the tiles have the slightly newer design, seen in the Anniversary edition and some more recent expansions. The cities are busier and the edges are slightly rounded for example.
Also there are some new tile configurations, but so far I believe only the Spring tile for the river (now has a road) and the end of the river (has a monastery) are known to be different, but there could be more
Big Box 7 also has 3 blank tiles.

C2 only.  I like Mega-Carcassonne with all (mini)expansions released for C2, including Spiel Doch! Promo 2/2018, Spiel Promos and The Labyrinth (no CnP and PnP). House rules are forbidden; only official rules (where there is no official clarification - an interpretation; like https://wikicarpedia.com/index.php/The_Abbot#cite_note-15 and https://wikicarpedia.com/index.php/The_Princess_and_The_Dragon#cite_note-23).

Hi Carcassonne93, another C2 player  :) :)
what is CnP and PnP?? Sorry, but I have no idea...
And your contribution to the Wikicarpedia is impressive, ... I can understand your merits  :(y) :)

Another symbol for The Ferries. Modified source tile and lake tile. Rounder corners. Clipped buildings. Modified trade good tokens. Beside these, just some slightly minor changes. At the end of rulebook; the abbot is scored in step 2 or step 3?

So the only new stuffs in this big box are the scoreboard (new version with river but without 20 anniversary easter eggs) and the river source (with road)?

The rest is the same as the previous big box, but with chopped buildings?
And monastery lake.

Even the Base Game and the River I will be reprinted (the source tile and the lake tile will be changed). Another reprint after 20th Anniversary Edition. Study the image carefully.

"Negative scorings should not be considered" including the ransom for a prisoner? For City of Carcassonne.
Nothing about this?
Can you explain possible scenario?
I (Red) lose 3 points, Blue receives 3 points. I do not receive any points, but another player (Blue) receives. Can I place a meeple in the City of Carcassonne?
This is an interaction between 2 major expansions.
