Next saturday 2.10.2021 will be slovak Championship of Carcassonne.
Who is interested, he need to create email registration. There will be playing system everybody agains everybody in groups depends of count of players. Best players will play semifinals and then will be two matches for winner and 3rd position.

Nice! I might be able to catch the final round. I'll be out of state, working in a different location, but the final round starts at 7am where I will be. Maybe even round 6 and semis if I wake up early.
Is it open for observation over video conference or only in-person viewing?

Don't know. I was never been there. (It sound very not English for me, can't write it correct).
Last year it was not.
Anyway, champion of Czech Republic this year is Slovak citizen :)
