Thanks @Ker42

I'm glad that this expansion made it to another country... I hope you had fun playing the game... I hope 10 points were valid for at least 10 figures on the board

Ha ha, yeah.  The first one counted the entire board of 10 figures.  My opponent wasn't pleased...but she made plenty of points later.   ;D
It's all fun and games...until the Cosmic Portal Mirror Zone comes out.

our new year's eve games  :D

game 1: Pyrenees, Ancestors, Campfire, Cosmic Orienteers
game 2: Gingerbread Man, Noel, Shepherd (no sheep left .... and when they came, they had so intensive heat that the snow melted away immediately so that the grass was green  :D )

in the second (winter) game, we both ended up with 5 meeples in the giant city - it was a tie....

Uuuuuu love the idea of Pyrenees or any mountain range instead of the river or combined with the river. I wonder if someone made C2 or C3 edition of them, will have to search the forum.
When I play with my friends we don't use official instantly occupy and score rule for cities/roads, we find that too easy, you first need to add tile to unoccupied city/road, place your meeple and than score it in next turn. It causes massive changes for all expansions but that's the way we like it

I just realised that image resolution is not high enough. I will have to corect that in future posts. Anyway I have used Abu Simbel as a starting tile plus river, no base game, just these expansions:

Ferries
Crop Circles
4 Seasons - Spring / Autumn
Castles in Germany
Drawbridges
Fruit-Bearing Trees
Peasant Revolts
Spiel Promo 2024
Tollkeepers
Big meeple and Builder

Just base game rules and Drawbridges rules. I just wanted to try-out Drawbridges with some beautifull tiles.

Slightly belated birthday game with my family, as usual on Zoom and playingcards.io.  Base game + Inns = 89 tiles, so everyone gets 22 turns.  We used bridges and abbeys and proportional scoring of farms as always.

Here is the landscape before final scoring:

My daughter had a miserable run of road tiles, so I was able to win!  But quite close all around.

We’ve been playing a bunch of other games, notably Fjords, but Carcassonne is still my very favorite.

Happy belated birthday!  Looks like a great game!  My family has been playing a few other games too, including Canvas and Through the Desert, but Carcassonne is still my favorite.  And it was a proud father moment when my daughter announced, after playing Through the Desert, that she liked Carcassonne better.   ;D

My daughter and I played a 126-tile game using a subset of tiles from 2 Travel Carc games glued to the back of my Linie 1 tiles, as described here.  We also used my Guesthouses and Walls and Gates variants.  It was a great game!  Maybe my very favorite way to play!

This photo shows the landscape before final scoring, at which point the score was tied at 189!

(full-size here).

She ended up winning 244-239.   >:(
