At the end of the day... speaking only about tiles, there will be:

  • Spiel Tiel '24;
  • The Festival 3.0
  • Halfling 3.0
  • WoH II
and no season mini expansion?

Just had a look: on the home page it now has instructions on how to receive the Spiel'24 tile + the message: "It will start soon. Please be patient."
Guess we'll just have to be patient. ;)

AAAANNNDDD ordered. Wonders II, Seasons—Autumn, Seasons—Spring, Grey+Orange+Purple Guardians, and finally the 3D box inlay.

Total price €75, which is WAY too much, but that's the cost of getting a free Spiel '24 tile, HiG bag, and copy of Stonehenge Digital. At least there was no map this year to balloon out my shipping cost like previous years.

First cundco advent. Just to be sure, they don't add stuff to the sale later on right?

Well... to start with, I secured the Spiel24 tile which was my primary aim in the Advent Sale. Or at least my paid order summary says "Voucher SPIEL'24 Quantities 1" so I am hopeful. Otherwise, it was an odd and unnecessarilly stressfull experience. Like many, I spent my morning refreshing the Cundco webpage every now and then, at every quarter, half, full hour and tens of times in between while trying to work (not surprisingly, the experiment I was conducting did not come out very well...but that I cannot atribute solely to the Advent-sale-stress I am afraid :-) Hans may be "im Glück" but seemingly he is not in a same timezone as me since the webpage allowed placing orders well after midday and by no means in the morning anymore. I am not an IT person but ... does it really pose such a challenge for an eshop in the year 2024 so that the launch is so troubled?

Once it finally started, I made sure to quickly put into the basket the items I selected in advance (The WoH II, The Spring, Snakes and Ladders) plus The Autumn that I half expected and noticed earlier today at the HiG Facebook profile while searching for updates regarding the start of the sale, applied the Spiel24 voucher and paid while travelling by the Prague subway from one research facility to another. Only after receiving the confirmation of my payment I learnt that there were other, previously not advertised items on sale. While the cool and nowaday hard to come by tin boxes looked quite worth placing another order, I decided to grab a quick lunch first Bad choice - they are not available anymore. While one would make a suitable solution for storing some of my C1 items, I decided to stick to the optimistic fact that I will probably receive that so much desired tile 24 and forget about the Advent sale 2024 for now.

I have never heard that they add stuff later.
It's more like: get the stuff as soon as possible because some things may get ouf of stock.... (like the tin boxes... or in previous years the Spiel tile)

good luck!!

Anyway… shipping is a scam. 20 euro from D to I is very very expensive. Less than 34 euro of Carc related stuff.

And if you lived in Switzerland, for any order worth more than 70 Euros (including shipping costs, so 50 euros of merch), you'd have to add 20 Euros for toll fees...  >:D

I placed my 49 Euros order  :yellow-meeple:

While not impressed by the launch of the Advent sale, I must admit that I did not expect my order that had been placed on Tuesday to appear on my desk today delivered. A set similar to many these days, but rapid shipment! I hope the face mask that was included as a free gift is not a bad omen...  ::)

Mine arrived in good condition - I was hoping to get the version with the Belagerer but unfortunately I got the other variant.

I see from the photo that you also got these little monster tokens - any idea which game they are from? Perhaps someone has an idea of how these can be integrated in Carcassonne (another fan-made expansion)?
