One of only 2 boardgames set in Wales... how could I resist:

https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/nskngames/snowdonia-deluxe-master-set?ref=carcc

I'm in as well.

Have always been curious and had earlier passed up on a fairly pricy copy of the Indie Boards and Cards edition that included a mini expansion. I did like the Klemens Franz art in that copy but hard to pass up on the massive bling in this version!
Franks

Wanna play Carc? Can we add just one more expansion?

Believe you're covered by the 273k stretchgoal, the original artwork has been added to the alternative side of the game board!

I'm happy to see the 255k stetchgoal too. I think more games should be brave enough to do away with massive boards. I like this has given players a choice.

Looks like a new solo AI-mode is about to be unlocked too!

And Dawn of the Zeds has got me too:

https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/567823005/dawn-of-the-zeds-third-edition-reprint-three-expan

These Kickstarters are like busses - you wait 20 minutes and then 3 come at once!

Hiya. I've been sat on the fence for a while trying to justify backing Snowdonia on KS and have just discovered bulk group purchases. This KS finishes today but it may still be possible to join a group pledge - we're a couple of people short (to create another group of 6). If you're based in the UK, take a look and post in the Snowdonia event if you're interested ASAP as Decar and I would love to get a copy of the game at approx half the standalone KS pledge amount (the group buy looks like just £44.50 delivered). It's a closed FB group btw, but my request was approved in minutes. Cheers, Rich.

Thought I'd share this one:

Hero Master: An Epic Game of Epic Fails - The Board Game:

https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/thenobleartist/hero-master-an-epic-game-of-epic-fails-the-board-g

Not really in my wheel house-but I spoke to the guy at the UKGE and he's an all round nice bloke.

Talking about "epic" games, there's 4 days left to back Tiny Epic Mechs: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/coe/tiny-epic-mechs-mechanized-entertainment-combat-he

It would be nice if the last stretch goal (colored mechs) gets unlocked...

Being Dutch/Canadian I had to back this little game from Canada about a city in the Netherlands: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1812622835/town-builder-coevorden

The publisher is from Vancouver and I noticed this little snippet on Wikipedia about Coevorden: "The city of Coevorden may have indirectly given its name to the city of Vancouver, which is named after the 18th-century British explorer George Vancouver. The explorer's ancestors (and family name) may have originally come to England "from Coevorden" (van Coevorden > Vancoevorden > Vancouver).[5] There is also a family of nobility with the surname van Coeverden, sometimes spelled with a K (as with Canadian kayaker Adam van Koeverden)."

Huh! Interesting background on the city name, thanks for sharing, I wasn't aware of that. Sounds very plausible and likely!

I also decided to go into it with the low entry level $20CND, didn't quite see the value of doubling the price for the play mat. Big plus it plays solo though I have a Dutch Pal at work that will, I'm sure, enjoy this. He has been one the most enthusiastic recruits to my game group there. He hates when we miss a day due to the odd time that 'work' gets in the way  ::) :D

I went for the same level for the same reason... Every game seems to come with their own playmat(s) these days! I don't mind having one or two, but there seems to be some overkill with this imho.

I think my one and only KS game this year will be the now-ended Dinogenics. I had (up until recently) Dinosaur Island however having played Dinogenics at a game night/tabletopia it does everything I wanted from a Jurassic Park-inspired game (essentially, Agricola with dinos!).

A big hit to the wallet though, so not only will I try to avoid kickstarter for the rest of the year, I will have to sell one of my games if I want another replace with another ( I try to do a one in, one out policy anyway). Expansions and really tiny card games don't count, right?  ;)
