Hello rysy, welcome to the forums.

Although there are a few forum members here who play the iOS Carcassonne app, hardly anybody seems to play the Android app.

Maybe you're an update or two ahead of me, but apart from a dozen or so "Quick games" against random opponents I've not played any online games. I'm not even sure how something like this would work given what's currently been implemented!

Sorry if I misunderstood. There is an option in android version where you can find specified user by nickname, add to friends and invite to the game. I'm using this method, playing with my brother when we can't meet together in our houses.

Sure! In my time-zone it's a free time after lunch but I'm happy to play in other time too!

I decide to create this post, cause there is many times when you want to say "Wow, that was awesome!", or "well done!" to your opponent but you can't.

Ive got android carcassonne too, not tried the new Internet play yet. Having just signed up for TnB I might have more than enough games to squeeze in, but will put a post here if I find a window

I know what you mean. I normally try to "friend" people if we've had a good game, purely to give them the opportunity to congratulate me...

I'm also on the Android App - "Durbs" I think...

It seems to work quite well - could do with a scoreboard tally to track matches against your Friends, and they've yet to enable the expansions for online play... and you can only quick match a 2-player game (though I'm not a fan of more than 3 players in Carc).

Yes, it doesn't record any kind of career stats which would be nice and seems relatively simple.

I wasn’t sure what was left if I’m honest, as my tile-counting isn’t good enough to track all of the more common tiles. I don’t use the in-game tile checklist as it feels too much like cheating!

I won by 11 points and the farm was worth 24 for each of us. If you’d won the farm outright it would have been 24 less for me and 3 less for you (since the farmer you didn’t join on was also worth 3 which wouldn’t have been scored twice if he was on the main farm). The net effect of this would have been a 10 point win for you, so it was all about the luck of the draw in the end and I was lucky to hang in there. Still, many a game I’ve won or lost has been entirely dependent on whether my opponent or I drew a specific tile, that’s just the nature of the beast.

Definitely - agree about the tile counting, I try not to look. Just noticed of 2 (maybe 3 actually, think there was a CRRF at the end too?) tiles which would've joined me in, you got them all

Yeah, but I planned for that to happen...

I had miscounted the number of cfrr tiles that had been placed and still thought I had a chance of joining my third farmer that you trapped behind the incomplete city that we shared (the one which I made the cccc gap in the middle of). You needed the same tile elsewhere, so I was convinced that the game would be won by whoever drew this tile and was a little surprised when it didn't turn up at all!

Best of 99 sounds good to me!
