At this busy time of year I am pleased to be able to present to all Carcassonne Central members a special tile in the new artwork form.

The tile has been specially designed to allow everyone to enjoy a quick game using the new format.

True but the rules are quite simple -draw tile, place tile, score city, score road , score farm - and we have a winner.

It is the ultimate Carcassonne travel edition

The embarrassing thing is I had to post this twice. My first effort had a river instead of a road. I went through all the effort of cutting and pasting a river to fit round the city but I was totally oblivious to the fact that you cannot score a river. I was up most of the night with a bad cold so I guess I was even more dopey than usual.

Expansions?

At the moment, Hans Im Glück and Z-Man Games are still evaluating the possibility of relaunching existing expansions in the new style. As for the current expansions, not only are they maintained in the catalog, but also new Mini-Expansions are in the works.

only mini expansions currently planned - pity!
