Hi there,

I'm just wondering how I can qualify for the 2024 Carcassonne World Championship at Essen Spiel? I'm in St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada, so I'm unsure whether I need to travel to Toronto or if I can play a national qualifying round through a reputable website such as Board Game Arena? Could someone please guide me through this process, please? Thank you!

I'm just wondering whether it would be possible for someone to compile a list of all the Spielbox Magazines with Carcassonne either featured in one (or more) of their articles, along with those that include expansions and/or promos for the series. I want to ensure that I have all of the magazines up to date, as my first one dates all the way back to Spielbox issue 2004/5. Thanks!

General / Defective Carcassonne Star Wars Edition

Hello folks! I’m having a bit of trouble with a collectible that I ordered online a few months ago. So I ordered Carcassonne Star Wars Edition (Base Game) on eBay, and it was Factory Sealed. When I received the game, there was a large dent in the bottom left hand corner of the box. “Ok, this is a bit bothersome, but at least the game is playable,” I thought to myself. Nope! Not only did the box have a large dent which loses its collectible value, all of the double sized needles that were supposed to be in the box were missing, rendering the game defective and completely useless. I could honestly cry right now because I am a serious Carcassonne collector, and this game was discontinued recently, so I don’t know how to get the missing parts for it. Is there anything I can do?  There isn’t any room for the attachments to be posted from my iPad, so I will have to post them later.

Yes, I am talking about the magazines. For the 2005 Almanac, do you know where I can find one, or anybody that has one for sale? 

Are you talking about the magazine's?

I would guess so. The Carcassonne Almanac was a special magazine which came with a republished version of Cathars.

I think I have one somewhere, but it's not for sale. Sorry.
