Title: German Cathedrals and cult place
Post by: Windekind on December 14, 2016, 07:01:24 AM
Hello,

Can someone help me with this question?
If you play with German Cathedrals and Cult Places, the German Cathedrals are therefore seen as a kind of monasteries?
If the Cult Place is located next to a German Cathedral and the heretic is surrounded by 8 tiles, win the heretic player than 9 points?

In my opinion, these are completely different features. German Cathedrals are even scored differently, so I don't see any point to count them as cloister-similar feature.

I would agree as well, although they behave somewhat like a cloister. The main difference being that connected roads score more. This is an odd one that I've never really considered

The German Cathedrals work different than cloisters or cult places I'd say. The Cathedral can take much longer than just 8 surrounding tiles to complete (once had one with 2 labyrinths connecting to it).
So they work independently from each other
