My Inns & Cathedrals copy has been played with so many times and is in very rough shape. I live in the United States, but would potentially be very interested in this if it’s still available and the shipping isn’t too outrageous.

He has created an interesting combination of Carcassonne (our beloved graphics) and Carcassonne Edition II (new graphics).
I don't mean to be negative, but that's exactly what I expected it to look like, and I do not like it.

Kettlefish has been nice being able to get some of these for us, but that doesn't fix the bigger problem. I see very little value in adding new expansions to base games when the audience for those games are new players to begin with. Changing the cover I understand but the components should remain static. Add The River, for all I care, but keep it to that. Kinda getting annoyed, to be honest.
I've got to agree with this as well. If you're going to bundle these rare, new expansions with endless versions of the base game, at least offer the dedicated, existing fans an easy alternative. And, let's be clear about that option from the get go. I'd like clarification on this new strategy we're seeing with releasing expansions...because as Whaleyland put it...it's getting annoying. And when that's the reaction being given by the games MOST loyal fans, that's concerning.

Alive I am, and always very much present on here. New official expansions, such as "Hills and Sheep", and this one always re-ignite my interest quite a bit...so I might just have to start sharing some of my ideas....

Last year: 6 (7) Minis , The little buildings, Wind Roses, Winter-Edition, Gingerbread-Man....
Is it not enough for one year?
And this year is not over...we will see what happens during this year...
Lol. I guess you're right. The minis did provide a wealth of new options, tho I haven't had as much opportunity to play them as I'd like. But, as always, I'm eagerly anticipating seeing what is coming next!

Our once-famous author of many-a-great fan expansion has returned at last! I was wondering what happened to whom my wife and I call "Putt-Putt". Where've you been lately and any current projects?
ONCE famous?! I hope one is not forgotten so easily! But alas, I can explain my departure with the fact that I got a new job, and that's been taking up most of my time. I've dropped in here now and then to see the happenings. Lack of anything "officially" new in the carc world hasn't helped either. As for new projects, I have still been working on my very own original game idea. It's been in the works for a couple years...and I hope for it to eventually see the light of day. As for my own Carcassonne expansions... There are so many out there that I've not yet showcased on this site. I would love to share them, but being that I don't have the rules written and formatted (even tho the rules exist in my head), I don't know what good it would do.
