There are no English versions of the Winter edition. Get yourself a German copy of the latest version. The only thing in German is the rules, and we have Wikicarpedia for that.

    There is a winter edition in Chinese that will be released in Taiwan. But the release date has not been set.

Small curiosity, on the side of the box that we see on the image, it is specified that it contains the mini-extensions "L'Abbé" and "La Rivière".

It feels a bit silly complaining that you can't use a feature in a game where it is not meant to be used in 

Guys my english is not perfect but sometimes I wonder if you even read my posts. I never complained about not being able to use abbots. I was noticing that a game version who does not include abbots include an abbott mechanic instead, something that's weird to me. It was intended as a playful remark.

I think Sir loose a ferm will be satisfied with this new edition which will fully allow him to use Abbots in winter!

It's my impression. The tiles also look more colorful than in thé german édition.
