Found some more images - looks like it's now a three book series:

Hang on, did I miss something? If you're not playing with any expansions you'll always score zero regardless of time and tiles.

and when I play my Dad a normal game always takes twice as long, so I'm not sure time is a good/fair metric.

EDIT: Ah! I see it was meant to be a plus not a multiply  O:-)

It looks like Carcassonne is taken pretty seriously in Japan, I just wondered if any of the completionists here had seen these:

https://sv84.wadax.ne.jp/~mobius-games-co-jp/shop/1_1230.html

Looks like they're out of print now, but they're two "Carcassone Strongest Teaching" books containing Championship Rankings and Tactics and various other things that are lost in translation!

This looks like the official site:

I just thought the manga take on the artwork was fun so wanted to share!

Perhaps:

1000 tiles, is a KiloCarcassone
1000000 tiles is a MegaCarcassonne

Anything Else / Happy 2015!

I know some of you are already celebrating, but just wanted to wish everyone a happy 2015!

I hope this year has brought you and your familes good tidings.

I'd also like to thank everyone's hard work on this forum.  There's so many people all willing to help each other, specially when looking for those hard to find tiles :D but also those people sharing their creations.

I'm sure 2015 is going to be fantastic carcassonne year!

What a find; I thought I looked everywhere for that, even a strange toy shop in China.

I got a lucky bid on ebay just before Christmas - the Count, River2 and CSnC for $24 Buy-it-Now!

Hi Allan,  I'm a newbie too and not heard of this - it sounds interesting!

Have you checked the files on BBG? boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/822/carcassonne  - perhaps you'll find it there?

I know of deck dividers that could be used like this for each expansion: http://boardgamegeek.com/filepage/89204/carcasonne-standalone-divider-cards

perhaps that's close?

I'm going to have to ask - the two in the middle are from different publishers to those on the outside.  Any interesting differences?

I've yet to pop open my BB5, so I'll take some photos of the boards pre-popping tonight, if it'll help :)

Rosco: just what I paid for it: which was £12 + postage.  I ordered it from Milestone games, but it looks like they don't have any left.  It's pretty steep for the expansion,  On the plus side, I don't have to buy a box to post it; just let me know if I can help.

Mr Yellow's Ark of The Covenant arrived! [Round of Applause]  Thank you very much :D

Rosco, you should have said,  I have an unopened Catapult looking for a home; they seem hard to get hold of in the UK now :(

Hi greatstone3182.  As far as I know you're correct.  This edition of the River has not been released as an individual add on.  I'd consider these River Tiles to be 'old' art work; especially as the only modifications to the original River Tiles are the addition of 2 sheep and 2 vinyards.

Unfortunately, I've yet to find any secret levels in JCloisterZone :(  Maybe I should leave some :D

I've made a bit of progress but I'm not entirely happy with the result.  Here's the AI playing DnP + The Tower:

It's an 88MB GIF?!?!
