News and Events / New releases on April 28th

Ecently HiG has been providing some sneak peaks of their work in progress and new releases on Facebook and Instagram:
* Transparent and Frozen guard meeples (no news about wooden ones in other colors)
* Transparent ghosts
* An expansion about "wonders of the world" with Tetris-like mega tiles
* A possible expnsion for Mists over Carcassonne
* An insert for the base game box that serves as a vertical starting setup

And today they announced a Carcassonne Maps - Nordics... The first with C3 printed tiles and font from HiG.



The meeples, ghosts and the Map will be available on Cundco on April 28th.... We don't know about the rest... Fingers crossed.

Hi all,

For those unaware of what it is really going on, I will just break it for you: Christmas is coming!!! Again... So does Winter... at least in the Northern Hemisphere!

In preparation of the coming events, here at Carcassonne Central, a lot is happening behind the scenes again. The Meeple Council is in session discussing whether phantoms should be allowed to be reinstated as acrobats...

This is just a smoke screen, because the real agenda for today is...

Santa Claus just arrived in The Nethelands and Belgium direct from from Spain... Ask any members from those countries. Ask them...

From there he stopped at Carcassonne Central for the Christmas preparations...



This means the Advent Calendar Quiz is coming up... I will be required to work on that day and night to satisfy the Meeple Council. What will be the prize this year? It will be difficult to guess... as always!

Prologue

October 4th 2022

Dear Meeple Diary,

As you well know, it all started in August. After a few tries, I couldn't put together a party of valiant Iberian Carcassonne fans to attend together the Essen Spiel fair. I was on vacation, so I was just relying on pure luck to be able to succeed in September.

All of a sudden, I got this message from Tom to join a Carcassonne Central party to Essen along with Dan and Willem... Holy Meeples! I was reading the messages as I was wandering the streets of Mallorca admiring the peculiar signs written on cans. All of a sudden, I found myself staring at this traffic sign... Was this any type of heaven-sent sign?

It took me 5 milliseconds to say yes.

HiG has declared in the Exp. 11 rules that there are no official rules when combining it with other expansions, major or minor.
