My recently finished mega-carcassonne game with my girlfriend (450) and youngest son (377).  I won at (586).  Go me!

Official Rules / Tower help

Hi all. Fairly new to Carcassonne and have a question about the towers expansion. If you have a tower with a follower on top of it, can someone later play within the range of the tower safely without it being taken or is it considered non playable to all players except the one controlling the tower?
