It took 6 weeks, but Zamek Sokół finally came. Also received the very cute snow globe (thanks for the tip, Scott!). I'm glad the snow globe was packaged better than the 10th anniversary edition, as it arrived in 3 pieces (top completely off, back piece hanging on by one corner). I heard that in general the 10th anniversary box wasn't very sturdy to begin with, but I'd hoped to get one in better shape than this. At least all the pieces are there and it wasn't that expensive...

Looks like a great time! I just read your rules for Old City, and it sounds like a lot of fun. It may be just the thing to try with my kids, who sometimes don't want to play Carcassonne because they say it's too long. The proportional scoring is a great idea too. And it's a great way to use some extra wooden pieces or excuse to buy more.

Ok, I bought myself Zamek for my birthday, but the handmade card and bead-craft fridge magnets were a nice gift from my kids. They know what I like.

Maybe you could look into getting a PayPal credit card. That's what I used, and it works well for oversea (or any) orders that you want taken out of your PayPal account.
