Tile with Inn

(1/1)

marcootje:
Hi guys,

I have a question about the tiles with the Inn.
In the manual is mentioned when you complete a road along an Inn it is counted twice. But what when a completed city is along an Inn? Is it also counted twice?

No, cities are parallel with inns. The cities consider, however, the cathedrals.

If you ever have questions about scoring, go to Scoring During Turn Sequence WICA page and select the expansion(s) you are playing with.

You can check the annotated rules of Inns and Cathedrals here.

I don't understand.

The rules site doesn't give an answer to my question.

Looking at the tiles it looks like the city is also hit by the Inn. Does it?

NGC 54:
Applying an inn to a city would be like applying a coat of arms to a road.  :)

Meepledrone:
You may see in the rules that inns are explained in road scorings and cathedrals in road scorings. It is never mentioned that an inn affects a city.

Inns only affect the road they are on. Note that an inn may affect 1 or 2 road segments but no other features on the tile.

Cathedrals only affect the city they are in. There should be no ambiguity in this case, since cathedral tiles only have a city segment.
