I imagine that Udo's schedule must be a fairly busy one and is probably managed very carefully between Carcassonne on Tour and HiG. However, I like to imagine that a small part of the reason for him making it to the UK Games Expo was partly down to my inviting him in September last year. If it was seen as a significant event then I'm sure he would have come anyway, but having taken part in the UK Carcassonne championships in 2014 I thought it might be the sort of thing that could benefit from him being there so I liaised with the organisers a bit and sent him a random email out of the blue to see if he's consider it. Fortunately he did!

I don't see the fact that Carcassonne in France is published by Filosofia as being a problem; it's Z-Man games in the UK after all. But perhaps if you invite him you may be pleasantly surprised! (although 2 weeks may be a little short notice)...
