I was curious if there was ever an unplayable tile. I can't imagine there would ever be a time a CCCC tile couldn't find a home except really early on.

Does it have an elevator? Cause I live on a 3rd floor apartment, no elevator, 2 kids "lap sized", so I believe I'm the winner
2 lap sized kids? You definitely win. I probably get more sleep though. Good news for you is that they will fall in love with board games when they hit 6 or 7.

I know this is going to sound silly, but all of the structures and domes being the same color is a big turn off. Thematically building taller structures seems cooler than getting a builder to the third floor. Then again there are a lot of building games like that already and this is different. The strategy looks varied based on your God's special ability, so that is a big plus and will increase the playtime. I am going to hold off on this one. I work on the 3rd floor of a building, so I win every weekday already

. Also, we finally are getting angry at each other.
You guys are so close. You can't get angry and flip the tables now!

I just ordered extra mage & witch tiles from Ebay along with 8 more from the Robber. This addiction is getting bad, but with 16 tiles we won't need the house rules

I don't like counting the tile multiple times, but other than that the rules seem ok.
Thanks for posting the pictures. My Kathedrals are hopefully crossing the Atlantic.

Just seen the following tweet that may be of interest to those who don't already have the app...
@exozet_games: CARCASSONNE EASTER SALE - 50% OFF via Microsoft Store (W10 only), Google Play, Amazon App Store @MicrosoftStore @amazonappstore @GooglePlay
For $2.49 I bought it. It isn't bad, but it comes with nothing extra. For $5 you can get Inns + Cathedrals, Traders + Builders, and Corn Circles. I didn't pony up for that yet. Playing without GC11 just isn't the same. I wonder if there will be a GC11 in the new artwork. Also, I started an online game with some guy. We got all the way to 14 tiles left in the game and he disappeared. The game will come down to whether or not he can merge his farm to mine or not.

I did try playing this expansion with yet another of my variations ( ), which was pretty fun. We played both the Mage and the Witch like the Gingerbread Man, in that when a city or road with one of these figures is completed, the completing player moves the figure into another unfinished city or road. This worked pretty well, because both features stuck around throughout the game and had a much bigger effect! Almost too big, really, but it was fun.
I like playing the base game with three minis, whichever I fancy at the time. That makes for a good game. My favourites are The Ferries, The Goldmines and The Mage and the Witch.
I may try your house rule, but with the modification that you must put the mage or witch on an opponent's feature. It would be rather harsh to just keep completing your own features with the mage after the last mage tile has come out.

The landscape looks very nice. There are enough tables for the mega game of Carcassonne.
At the moment they use 17 tables for the landscape.
It does look great. I also like watching the tables getting added. It took me awhile to figure out what the green things were sticking out of the one player's head.

Thanks.
I am going to measure later and maybe buy some dividers from basically wooden. I have no idea what they charge to ship to the States, but dividers are necessary.
