Well. I hope that it will be something new, not only C3 design. But it looks like it will be.
2000 - Released C1
2012 - Released C2 (12 years after C1)
2021 - Released? C3 (9 years after C2) - it is good year to make it new.
It it will be true, why they republish Winter edition in old design this year?
C2 first appeared in 2014.

Here in Italy we're still waiting for the C2 versions of exp. 5 and 8. If HiG released a new C3 edition it would be beyond ridiculous.

To my Big Box 5 I added:
- all missing meeples in purple and pink (messenger, robber, barn, cart and mayor)
- 10 additional tower pieces (5/player)
- 4 additional Castles and bridges (2/player)
- 2 abbey tiles (1/player)
- 8 additional catapult chits (4/player,1 per type)
- 1 purple and 1 pink phantom (I actually use teachers as phantoms for all sets).

I'm looking for the grey teacher/phantom that once was published by Cundco in a set of 13 pieces. I'm not interested in other colors, only the grey one (see pictures).  I can offer money (for a reasonable price) or some nice Carc things in exchange.

Ok, I managed to find an ebay vendor who claimed to have the acrylic meeples in all colors and ordered the 3 colors I was missing. Unfortunately he sent me a black meeple instead of gray and now it turns out he doesn't have that color.
So, anyone willing to exchange a gray teacher/phantom with a black one? Or with something else? It's now the only color I am missing.

It's really the end of an era. BGA has updated the digital version of Carcassonne with new edition graphics. Also, they added the Princess and Dragon expansion. Bye bye dear old illustrations.

Sorry for necroposting. It appears that Cundco sells now a transparent 10-meeple set only. Grey, brown and beige are no longer available. Anyone with a spare set willing to sell the old 13-meeple set or just the 3 meeples in the colors I mentioned above?

I'm ready to bet that the Rio Grande Games expansions (GQ#11 and CSC) will never be reprinted. All other minis have at least a chance.

Since they released both half-tile sets, including those from Spielbox, maybe next time they could release a 10-tile belagerer set, including the original 4 Cathar tiles.
