My custom Fortress Challenge playmat for playing the Ukrainian variant arrived today. Although printed on neoprene, the same as a mousepad, the surface is rougher because this is technically a doormat for wiping your feet on, so all of the glorious detail of my original artwork has been completely lost.

Busy weekend once again!
Before i set off for London on Saturday, the postman liked to make a quick stop and bring me this:

I was surprised to pick up a ZMG C3 recently, and now i already found a 2nd hand copy! The box is opened, but the tiles still in frames. Not sure why they decided to sell it already, but i got myself a nice copy that came become my C3 travel set

Then on the Saturday in London, i bumped into some familiar faces! An impromptu meetup with @Leven , @Snearone , @danisthirty and @Decar in Regent's Park! It was good to see some familiar faces and meet some new friends!
Of course there were some bits and pieces exchanged, and although my backpack felt lighter when i left, i was happy with a few additions:

Sokol for Zamek, also known as the Falcon for the Castle, from Poland, finally made it into my hands! And a nice CarcaCoins, which was one I didn't have yet!
And of course a donkey! It is the start of a fairly simple fan-expansion by @Snearone , which has not been released yet, and which i will need to try out soon!

Snearone also gave me something very special:

A 100 point scoretrack! I'm loving this! Really impressed with the artwork and the print quality! I didn't even notice the little 'S' flag on top of the river spring there until i got it out my bag now. Really amazing!

And when i came home there was another parcel waiting:

A parcel from Italy, with another C3 Base game for the collection, some expansions and parts of a BB7

Glad you're enjoying it - I'm still waiting for my Jarl Edition.... In the mean time some recent acquisitions.

In the mean time I've had a couple of non-boardgame acquisitions:

The first image has the complete series of the original and new Captain Scarlet, a new comic book released to celebrate Captain Scarlet Day on the 10th July, and the Deluxe edition of Stringray. I didn't order UFO so sent it back... maybe next time.

The second image are deluxe boxes of Super Car and Fireball XL5. These are earlier series from Gerry Anderson, shot in 35mm black and white.

All the blurrays have been lovingly restored by Network.

I've never seen any Fireball XL5, but after hearing the intro music it was a must:
