Anybody suffering with wagon issue, when it happen then please:
click, provide any useful information and download report file
send it to me

report contains internal level log, saved game, system info and board screenshot

Hard to say something to wagon observed wagon trouble. Saved game is key to fix it (and sometimes is still not enough)

I want to add bug report feature to next release. My vision is only comment form and send button. - It makes saved game, append some internal event log and send me all to email.
It should make reporting easy and provide me enough information to resolve.

Second comment is about abbeys. Must pass abbey placement on unwanted place can be annoying. I think about it before.
There is option to say "all current holes not interest me" - and until new holes is created or you cancel this order abbey placement will be passed automatically.

Last comment, for 3.2 (3.1 is standalone mode / playserver) I want to add  UI for custom configuration - eg tiles from Abbey&Mayor + wagon but  no Abbey and no Mayor.
This should satisfy all complains about too powerful something :-)

New game issue fixed, it was related to java version. Update to latest java 7 helps (to occur)

About wagon, I made some changes, not sure if it helps. It's more complicated issue rather related to AI and threads.
I want to add 'report bug' feature which provide me more internal important for issues like this.

I am convinced that 3.0  it is now better then 2.7 (which contains wagon issue for sure) so I made 3.0 public on website.

Please verify new game bug - it not happen on my machine but I think i know reason. Tried to fix, but cannot verify.
I would be alsi grateful for overall checking. Fixed several bugs another issue can arise.

This is serious candidate for release, if there is no maor bug I want to make it public.

Bad position and risky game in early stage -> 3 followers captured (2 of then on inn and cathedral -> 0 points). Not good.
But this is real challenge and different games from others. I give up battle for central farm (and i probably should try to avoit cities here completely ... )

Final scoring not so catastrophic

yes, numbering is not good now. I don't want to release different version under same name (3.0) but I thinbk I can violate it because not much people download first alpha maked as 3.0.

fixed undo and minor phantom issue (place on top of tower not avaiable for phantom)

We suffer with 4 crashed & loads (good news is once fixed save can be loaded without any other effort) - maybe it depends on current connection parameters.
Back back to game. I enjoyed it much, it looks long time I lost farm and wasn't be sure with anything. But finally I balanced farm, won one city and have better luck for cities with pennants.

Final score (farin 162 - 132 mas9dj) looks like smooth win but the truth of the matter is otherwise.

* network protocol changed completely
* German Monasteries expansion
* list of connected clients is displayed during game setup (can see unassigned players)
* chat is available during game setup
* rules update: wagon moves for Inns & Cathedrals special cases, according to Completely Annotated Rules
* rules update: wagon cannot move through a fair
* fix: nasty rare tower capture and wagon glitches - mainly causing occasionally ai freezing (i hope there is no more similar bugs left)
* fix: wagon can move from cloister inside city to city and vice-versa on bridge and bazaars tile
* fix: loading game resets point statistics
* fix: in some cases unable to start loaded game initially created with "randomize seating order"

Because of networking update I think about beta test first, but then I decided to make it public now.
Loading and freezing bugs in 2.7 are nasty and I hope it can't be worse now :-)

Yes, if you have still saved game you can apply described operations and than it should works
(I repair save today during my match with Yellow)

2.7 is unable to load game started with randomize seating order - button start game simple do nothing

Workaround exists to fix such saved game. It can be handy especially for tournament games.
  • change save game extension to .gz
  • unpack - it contains single file without extension
  • edit file, delete line <rule name="RANDOM_SEATING_ORDER"/>
  • rename file to have extension .jcz
done, just load now (no packing is needed)

Winning big city it looks like easy rest of game. But underestimate cathedral city (which i don't expect to be closed) needs fight farms more seriously (yellow helps me with wrongly placed double follower)
With one freeze we make it more complicated, but it reveal    process how to fix saved game to be able continue with loaded game.
