Jéré and Dan, is it possible, that Jéré and I play our game right after the one with Rosco?

That was possibly one of the most intense games I have played in a while.

Jere trapped a couple of my meeples early and we were neck and neck to half way through.  Then he chose not to block me out of a fairly large city when he could have done so with his abbey.  This allowed me to stay in and gradually increase my lead.  I think The tile draws seemed fairly even - however I think it would be better to ask Jere that part since I won!

Thanks Jere for a great game.
Just lay the damn tile!

Rosco vs Chooselife

you were not particularly lucky - just i was really unlucky
I guess it does summed up the game quite well.
I did spent most of my tiles blocking Rosco or trying to merge with the big city which I achieve.

Jéré vs. Hounk

Third game for me, third lost. Made three prime mistakes. First I on occasions opened to many projects. This let me never run out completely out of meeples. But while I sometimes had only one left, Jéré had 3 or 4, giving him more options to connect farmers to the big, big barn field, we created. (Although I kept this a little bit delayed, because I connected the barns later then possible.) Second, I had the option of taking the 4 road cloister with my wagon and messed that up, by finishing it with the same tile, as the road, where my wagon was. Third, I should have started the battle for the big city a little to late.

Considering all that, the game was still pretty close, especially against a prime opponent like Jéré, so the tiles probably were even a little bit in favour for me.

I played my first game of the league against Jéré.
Lots of turning points during the game, in the end I could win the game by mere 4 points.

I was in the beginning really lucky, placing my barn next on a spot, which I not too fond, because the area to the right seemed to me more promising and instantly got the second cloister with one road to join both areas for an amazing field. Then I got sloppy, focused maybe a little bit to much on tamping Levens attempts to place his barn, where he could join in, and to few on actual scoring. And with a few rounds, he had an amazing lead in scored points. He acted very clever, placing his barn at one point on his own little 2 city field, regarding correctly, that the 14 points including his farmer are better, then not placing the barn at all and noticed, that NOT placing his abbey at the last possible time was a better choice for him then doing so.

So congratulations. Although I played once again after the game vs. Jéré pretty bad, this does not at all diminish the great play of Leven.

Andrew the Ambo 202 - Jéré 199

Andrew played really well and managed to score a HUGE city (42 pts)!  I really tried to come back but at the end I was still 3 pts short... Congratulations!

Finally I won at least one game in this League. Andrew scored as well against me big in cities, but other than against Leven, he could not take away my huge barn advantage.

My second game against Hounk was frustrating.  From half way through the tiles I was trying to merge the Barns by going around the cities at the bottom of the screen.  I just needed plain road and field tiles but kept getting cities and had no meeples to use on them.  A good win for Hounk.

Leven vs Chooselife

Leven successfully blocked my barn but at the expense of the Abbey that could have been useful later in the game.
Really tight match but managing to steal both big cities and the big road made all the difference.
