Who would like to speculate when the 2017 big box will debut? Since I'm new to the Carcassonne World I have no idea as to when or even where!

I'm not really in touch with when most of HiG's events are. As we've speculated, probably the BigBox will come out after the 10th expansion. Otherwise there's no point buying one or the other. I suspect it will be the week before Essen/Spiel in October (at Nuremburg...or did I just make that event up)

The Nuremberg Toy Fair is in the first week of February.

I think the BigBox will come out for the Christmas present season in October. Expansion 10 could come out for Easter, available from mid-March.

If the 10th expansion is included AND there is no colour discrepancy among the tiles (which is normally an issue a Big Box would address)... I might consider buying it.

If I were the printer - I'd make sure one tile was slightly off - just to make it harder for you

Having thought about this a few minutes longer: If i were the printer, I'd make sure one of the city-caps on a CFCF tile was incorrect, but the other was ok

I'm wondering if the appeal of a big box with a new expansion might be the final straw and I end up caving in and finally buy something in the new artwork!

I am new to the forum - I was curious to find out if a new big box was coming this year and I found this thread. The first post mentioned we know a new big box is coming, but I have not found mention of that anywhere but here. Hoping someone can help fill me in, thanks!
