Congrats to Decar for his win. This way Rosco seems to be the winner of the group (only some kind of a miracle could prevent him), and my 2nd place is also highly probable (unless Decar would beat Jéré by at least 96 points). If Jéré wins the last match then he can finish on 3rd place with better point difference. By any result of the final game Chooselife will finish the group on 4th place.

I'm guessing that independently of the result between Jere vs Decar I manage to get a top 12 finish with a shot at the 10th spot so still good for my first league.

This is certainly true but still you may feel some disappontment by this outcome after starting the league with 3 convincing wins.

Well done to Jere (not alt-gr again :()

Decar: 105
Jere: 151

After about 10 minutes I realized, I needed to strange strategy, but Jere basically sat on me the whole game.  I got two meeple trapped very early on; and when I had a good chance of glomming a Barn onto Jere's main barn, he beat me to it again.

I was silly to let you use the Abbey when I did, I should have probably left it until I had a barn in place.

Excellent play from Jere, very defensive and probably some of the best use of 'playing the edge' I've seen.

Funny moments:  Jere trapping my wagon and me drawing the RRRR tile to let it escape the next turn.
Me leaving a 5 point loop unattended thinking the FFRR tile wont come up just yet.   Jere got it the next turn for 6 points.

I was a tad unlucky at the end drawing all of the CCCX tiles and attaching them to an enormous city..... I just wanted it to end, but Jere threatened with his Mayor, so I was lucky to get points at all.  That could have been another 34 points, if I could just close it up.

So I think that puts me way down in 5th place and the larger Points Differential too :)

Great game Jere, thanks again for being patient so we could play!

That's a wrap for Group B!
