On a slightly different note, has anyone dropped a farmer on the enclosed field within the cccc tile yet? There ought to be a bonus point for doing that as long as you complete all 4 of the surrounding cities individually.

That just happened to me in the game I had with Rosco now .

Try to reduce it with any graphical software. For example, you can use XnView (http://xnview.com). It's free for non-commercial use.

jma vs dan . a game that started well for me and then gave dan change game
2 meeples I were caught very early and the last castle close defined the game in your favor.good game dan¡¡¡¡

this game was something strange and foremost to thank Jere for fair play , so I jere a merit.
 to give thanks to for hosting the game.
as has been well explained dan, the game was very even where all were locked meeples.
I can not explain very well the games because my English is regular and the translator brings me crazy .
I if I made a catch.

as I can catch up Jere jma vs ?? ?

to see if I explained well ...

when I place a tile ( a road with curve for example) I can place the pastor and take the bag , but I can also place a meeple on the road or field? I think not

and secondly if I have a herd (6 points for example)
and I put a tile field Shepherd ( I can choose between catching bag or tell me ) if I decide to tell me , I can use the last tile to place a meeple

it will tell you a little of my experience can be a bit similar.
I have a couple of years playing (my girlfriend and another couple friends ours) to carcassonne twice a week , we did a mix which not bored.
almost always played with :
Inns and Cathedrals - dealers and builders - bridges, castles and bazaars - the Abbey and Mayor - princess and the dragon ( this only tiles princesses ) -the river I- II
and two weeks we bought the hills and sheep but only once tasted ago.

took a few days in this forum where I had the chance to try several expansions that did not know (thanks to the forum and jcloisterzone )
 and there are a couple of variations have liked and we will include our game coming : the king and rober baron and instead of starting with the river I- II will begin with the earl.

and of course we'll try again, but for now this is going great.
Usually take 1.5 hours.
