Official Rules / Re: 21st century CAR

It was the second set of promos I was referring to https://boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/215144/carcassonne-solovei-razboynik-and-vodyanoy

Cheers

Looks cool. I’m a bit old fashioned and like a PDF so I’m glad there’ll be an option to make a book.
I mix and match both versions of the game. I realise this may cause some extra rule text so maybe there could be secondary part of the clarification for people who like to mix things up.
Noticed the 2nd lot of Russian promos are missing as are the Essen tiles

Would love an update. The old document is quite out of date now

Aggghh, totally missed this thread.  I had been checking on the English version of the Cundco website but they never put the offer up there. I only noticed today that the text was a different length on the German page and realised that I’ve missed it. Sent them an email, fingers crossed

Hi
Can anyone remember what the rules were for the Christmas scoreboard were that Cundco sold previously. I think you got some bonus points for landing on the presents

Official Rules / Re: CAR for Carcassonne v2
« on: October 30, 2016, 04:40:26 PM »
i guess it would be nice to have a final CAR for 1st edition.  I do think however that 1st and 2nd edition are the same game and I mix and match tiles from both editions and there are certain to be new expansions which raise questions about their interactions with v1 expansions.
I personally would much rather have a PDF CAR than a wiki.
It's nice to have a single document that I can take with me on holiday and not have to worry about needing an Internet connection to check the rules

I came really close to buying the new versions of the expansions while I was in Transylvania last week. I was on my way to the till when I noticed that the picture on the back of the box showed the tiles had rounded corners. A shame really as they worked out pretty cheap

I think the only sane way to play is that a barn needs to be on a single farm

Hi Decar, thanks for the diagrams. In the example with the flyers going over the half tiles, what would happen if the flyer tile was above the one in your example and the angle of flight was diagonally down to the right? If you roll a 1, which half tile would you land on?

I think in the case of a void you would have to count it as one space per missing regular tile rather than play Schrodingers Tile and philosophise as to the whether there may be a castle or halflings there! ???  8) ::)

If a flyer moves diagonally down the diagonal split of two adjoining halfling tiles does it count it as two tiles (if so where would it land if it only moved one space) one tile or no tiles (it sneaks down the split!)

I would buy it but there is always the chance it could be The Gingerbread Man. I play loads of games so it'll most likely have some stuff for me.

Maybe Santa Claus tokens to fire at your cities with the catapult to deliver presents to your meeples would be fun!
