The members and fan meeting was a great event.
I've left the Spiel'16 together with maik63de and PresetM on Thursday at around 5 pm. We took the metro to our flat.
We have had a small flat (2 rooms, kitchen and bathroom and a balcony). Our flat is in the same part of the city Essen like the event at the evening.
We walked to the restaurant and met all the people there.
At the members and fan meeting there were our CarcF and CarcC members, the HiG + CundCo + CoT teams, the team from Herner Spielezentrum, some license partners of HiG (for example 999-games from NL) and many more people.

The events starts at 7pm - and the day of the Spiel ended at 7pm - that means many of the exhibitiors stuff came later to the meeting. But they still arrived before KJW started with the great piano concert.
KJW played songs from
Johann-Sebastian Bach - Prälidium C-Dur,
Frédéric François Chopin "Fantaisie Impromptu",
Johannes Brahms -Walzer As-Dur,
Claude-Michel Schönberg - a song from the musical Les Miserables: "I dreamed a dream,
Friedrich Gulda "Für Paul" (for Paul - his son),
Coldplay "viva la vida".

after KJW has finished his small concert, we had our dinner.

The food:
Chili con carne
Salmon with spinach
Chicken in red sauce
Spätzle (some kind of noodles - bavarian - south Germany)
Potato dumplings ("Kartoffelknödel" - great hmmm) with dark sauce
Rice
Vegetables
and some more

Decar was so impressed of our "Kartoffelknödel" - It was the first time he had eaten a real food - not some kind of pie...

Thanks for the photos Benny! Great to see such a good gathering of friends. Sure hope I can make it one year!

Glad he finally got his gift! Excellent job all around, looked like a good time with good people, good food and good music. OH and a good game that brought it all together!

Love the photos. Looks like this was a really cool experience. Kudos to you, again Dan, for putting together that gift. It makes me feel like I had a part in the day.
