Is there anyway to get a copy of the original Winter PnP anymore? I'm assuming it is just a file. If so, can said file be shared, or is that a "no no"?

Most of the official expansions and minis, and a lot of fan expansions, are available, in one or two versions, on Carcassonne-Forum, for what we usually refer to as the Winter Download version. I've not checked if the Base Game is available (it didn't used to be), but it is sometimes included in the Advent Calendar on the site - you can always use the Wheel of Fortune Winter version instead as your base game, or if you're handy with Photoshop, edit the tiles to remove the Wheel logos before printing.

Assuming you've posted enough messages on the site, go to Downloads / Erweiterungen zu eigenständigen Carcassonne Spielen (Standalone Game Expansions) / Winteredition (2012) and you'll currently find 79 expansions listed!

Maybe I'm looking in the wrong places, but there does not seem to be too much activity going on over there. I know little to no Deutsch, so that does not help. But, based off of the most current posting dates it seems pretty slow going.
