Great!I really like this idea better, because the first one might give monumental points advantage on fields which will disturb the balance of the game overall. The second idea includes the possibility that we can come accross many more of those Marcel Gröber tiles from the Carcassonne event without having to change the rules. Remember, there are at least 20 more of such tiles out there!!The player can decide at the beginning of the game how many giant tiles they want to give to each player (according to the number of giant tiles available at that moment and according to the number of players participating in the game)Love it!
I don't think it needs to be used as starting tile, this tile also exists in the normal base game (other than starting tile)
Is this tile welcome to the party?
I had suggested the following rules (as something new):The giant helps a meeple climb the outer wall of the city, and therefore the meeple has direct access to the city. This means when you add a "giant" tile to a city, you can place one of your meeples on the city segment EVEN IF the city is already occupied
another way is possible, each player starts the game with a giant in his reserve, he places it when he wants during the game on his turn, he places a meeple on it, when the 8 adjacent tiles are placed he takes back his meeple, does not count points but has the possibility of playing with an additional follower
Hey @oldbonz,yes, it's 6 tiles now, but the black man standing is not from Marcel Gröber. You missed the man lying in the field.... https://www.carcassonnecentral.com/community/index.php?topic=6191.msg90768#msg90768
