Big box 2016 rule clearification crop circles

We are playing a game with the crop circles expension and i draw a crop circle tile
That has a city on it.
The rules says i have to choose either to have all the player «add» a kniht or «remove» a knight

Can i place my meeple as a knight in the crop circle tiles i just placed down?
Then chose «remove» and imidietly remove the meeple?

Yes, it is allowed. The same applies to all other crop circles tiles.
