The Marketplace / WTB Carcassonne Maps in USA
« on: August 17, 2020, 12:35:19 PM »
Hi all,

I want to get all Carcassonne maps but in Cundco store shipping is about 50€! Five maps + chips will cost more than 100€  :-\

I was looking in some boardgame stores, not only here, but also in Europe, however they are very limited or out of stock.

Please, if some of you (users in Americas continent) have successfully bought them, could you share your experience in case you got them for a better shipping price?

Thanks,

Maybe:

 :red-meeple: 2 points
 :yellow-meeple: 22 points

Red 1 does not score any points for small city and Red 2 only score the city tile where is the cluster cause Bad Neighborhood  scoring tile.
Yellow 1 scores 5  per entire road due to Highway scoring tile, abbot scores 9 for the cluster + 8 Pilgrimage Route bonus

 ???

My guess:

 :red-meeple: 3 points
 :yellow-meeple: 6 points

1. Red completes city, and scores watchtower = 3 roads around. (it is no necessary scoring a feature to score watchtowers [WICA]).
Despite red meeple decides put a castle instead of score 4 points for the mini-city, he does not score yellow castle because is the same turn [WICA ref HiG rules].
BTW, http://wikicarpedia.com/index.php/Bridges,_Castles_and_Bazaars#cite_note-13 is not very clear to me: "This reference to "a later turn" should be interpreted as a later round"
If HiG rules explicitly said "later turn", why should we interpret later turn as "round"?

2. Yellow scores city = 6 points

 :)

Always happy to help Murphy! It is very fun dig into the small corners of Web Archive looking for historical pieces of Carcassonne  :)

My favorite finding so far was this "beauty"  ;D  http://wikicarpedia.com/index.php/File:Box_CountKingRobber1_C1_FI.png

Great job Murphy!

Thanks for moving it Meepledrone and for the merit danisthirty.   :red-meeple:

Don't forget visit the WICA page for update info and tons of screenshots!
http://wikicarpedia.com/index.php/Digital_Versions

I am looking for someone that has an active account in http://games.asobrain.com/
I need some screenshots of Toulouse to add them to the WICA. I tried to create my own account but apparently they stopped allowing new users.

Finally, I saw some information about Hunters and Gathers implementation in BrettSpielWelt (https://www.brettspielwelt.de/Spiele/CCJuS/?nation=en); however, I was unable to access to this game in the app nor in the webapp. If someone has some information about this implementation, I would happy to get it to add this to the WICA page.

Thanks in advance  :(y)

Thanks for the welcome and those merits  :red-meeple:. @Sinscerly you are right, some other apps are there, I didn't include some modules for Vassal and Tabletop simulator. Nevertheless here are some information for some of them:

Module:Carcassonne
Developers: Corwyn; bugggg; YearofGlad; ColtsFan76; aidendouglass; Sultan
http://www.vassalengine.org/wiki/Module:Carcassonne

Module:Carcassonne: Hunters and Gatherers
Developers: Sultan; ColtsFan76
http://www.vassalengine.org/wiki/Module:Carcassonne:_Hunters_and_Gatherers

Module:Carcassonne: The Discovery
Developers: Sultan; ColtsFan76
http://www.vassalengine.org/wiki/Module:Carcassonne:_The_Discovery

Module:The Ark of the Covenant
Developers: Sultan; ColtsFan76
http://www.vassalengine.org/wiki/Module:The_Ark_of_the_Covenant

Module:Carcassonne: The Castle
Developers: Sultan; ColtsFan76
http://www.vassalengine.org/wiki/Module:Carcassonne:_The_Castle

For Tabletop simulator there are a lot of unofficial projects (27 to the date): https://steamcommunity.com/workshop/browse/?appid=286160&searchtext=carcassonne&childpublishedfileid=0&browsesort=textsearch&section=home
One of them was very popular and totally scripted module but three week ago DMCA obligated the author removing it from the workshop.

I also exclude some others clones like Farmassone.

Maybe I will include Seven Castles (https://sevencastles.eu/) in the list.

Thanks for the reminder and share @Bumsakalaka. I also play Carcass One, it is not in this list because it does not emulate Carcassonne itself, but I agree with you, it is a very fun and addictive puzzle game (installed in my cellphone since Smoula presented it here: http://www.carcassonnecentral.com/community/index.php?topic=4388.0)

Hi everyone, some weeks ago I started searching some information about videogames of this boardgame; however, I found some incomplete and fragmented information. I decided compile it in a simple list sorted by time. Hope this calm the curiosity of some people that are looking the same information.

If you notice some error, please let me know.

You can see an updated version of this information now in the Wikicarpedia
