Correct me if I'm wrong but if you buy all six sets of the phantom you end up with 36 phantom meeples although presumably you can't use more than six of them. So what do you do with the remaining 30 other than put them in a little box and check up on them from time to time to make sure they're behaving themselves?

Thanks kettlefish.

The thing that confused me was contained within the link on Facebook:

"- La Porxada; officially printed tile with English instruction sheet"

I was aware that La Porxada was a kind of officially unofficial tile so I wondered what an "officially printed" tile was...

Thanks for the link @icydarkstary - what a gift! Very much deserved by all accounts, but still...

What is the difference between an officially printed La Porxada tile and one of the originals that were just stickers?

I have been knowingly playing with one of the misprinted versions of The Gingerbread Man but haven't been able to get hold of the reprinted version as it's been out of stock on Cundco for about two months.

I understand what you're saying Lotas, but I can't quite see why HiG would want to do that as the only people who stand to benefit from it (financially) would be the people selling it on eBay?

Hopefully Die Belagerer will come to those who wait!

I don't think I know anyone with one of the original La Porxadas. I don't expect I'd be able to afford it if I ever saw one go up for sale either, but I'd love to see how much it goes for! Wouldn't you just make one yourself since it's pretty much an impossibility for most people to ever own one of the originals?

Apologies if this is an obvious question but what is the difference between the different colour boxes that come with the Phantom? Is it literally just the boxes themselves that come in different colours whereas the six translucent Meeples inside are the same regardless of box colour? I thought I was getting pretty close to having collected everything (excluding big boxes and spin-off games) so the fact that some people collect six different sets of the Phantom won't please my wife!

I've been watching this one too. Bear in mind that the previous one (which started this thread) was at a price very similar to this and shot up to over 100 Euros in the last 10 seconds...

@icydarkstary - How you conduct your business affairs is entirely up to you, but expecting other people to pay inflated prices just because you did doesn't seem justifiable to me. But then what do I know? You must be doing something right if you can afford to live in Germany and Singapore simultaneously.

"thecarcassonnecollector" recently changed his name from "icydarkstary" and is a member of Carcassonne Central under that nickname. He has even posted on this thread to link to his listing for Corn Circles (but that message was removed).

I would never buy from him for a number of reason and wouldn't recommend anyone else do so either. Cost aside, the descriptions he puts up are factually incorrect and nothing short of moronic. He has also claimed that Corn Circles 1 is now unavailable except through him!

Looking through his history he has sold a number of "La Porxada" tiles which he's listed as being extremely rare. Whilst this would be fair enough if they were originals, the fact is that he is simply making his own copies of the tiles and then selling them on. This makes them about as rare as a snotty tissue to a parent of a toddler with a cold. Somehow he's been able to find people daft enough to pay for them which probably helps to explain why he can afford to get hold of some of the genuinely rare expansions. I dread to think how much he'd charge for The Cathars...

Let's remember that there's a big difference between how much these sell for and how much people are asking for. I genuinely hope that nobody is desperate enough to spend $285 on 6 tiles. The same guy is still asking for $185 for Corn Circles 1; at that price he can keep it.

The most I've seen the full box sell for is still 109.50 Euros. I've seen two "Buy it Now"s for about 65 Euros and unsurprisingly both of those went quite quickly. There are a couple of ongoing auctions still in progress too.

I was watching this too. I was expecting it go high as it's the first time it's been on eBay to the best of my knowledge. But like yourself, it was too high for me.

I would expect one of the original Porxada stickers to go for a lot more than this. After all, there were 1000 sets including Die Belagerer sold whereas there were just 72 Porxada stickers.

What implications will this have on whether the Die Belagerer tiles will be released on Cundco? Also, is there any chance that this will be the same expansion that Spielbox are running next month?

@Carcking - I completely agree with you! I posted a new thread regarding my revised alternative rules for The Cathars which can be found here. Interested to know what you think of the adjustments for farms...
