Where does this info about Russian fake promos actually come from? - or is that just a rumor  ???

It is shared experience of one of Czech forum member.

Sorry I can tell you which one, because it was on my first forum meeting and I saw members faces for first time.

Issue was that rounding of tiles didn't fit to original russian tiles and also that paper material was better then original russian promos tiles.

So not rumor, experience.

thanks you very much!
thats indeed interesting, because a tile in better quality indeed could be an indication of a fake, in fact, the poor quality of the Russian tiles is more likely to be an indicator of original products ;-)

Then, however, such fakes would be real rarities - haha.

Maybe I should ask in the Czech forum - pictures of it would interest me very much.

If you do not care about the language, here is probably an edition of Devir from Spain.
Thank you for the info! Just purchased a copy, they have another one if anyone is interested. Asked about it and they confirmed it's C1. Total price for Italy 35€ (16€ + 19€ shipping)

Thanks for your feedback!

Honestly, I collect these promos passionately and would like to know how such a fake should be recognizable - but I suspect that there are no fakes at all   >:D

Except for "official homemade" productions with European C-tiles.

And if you are even deeper into the "", the following observation of the last years:
Not even the illustrious "P.h.e.y." fakes Russian promo tiles, or at least he has never offered them for sale on his usual platforms, in contrast to many other Carcassonne things.

If you mean the Russian promos with the "K" backwards - those are official printruns - just like the different shades of green.

By the way, "no kidding" I also like to collect carcassonne knock-offs, so from that point of view I would even be okay with Chinese Russian promo-fakes  :yellow-meeple:
But as much as I try, I keep finding only originals  ;)

So, since I've started my quest of collecting every piece of the game, I more or less managed to find everything here or there (Amazon, eBay, Vinted, here on this forum...) but I'm failing to find a decent copy of the C1 version of Hills and Sheeps.
It's very frustrating because it's the only "major" piece of Carcassonne that I'm missing, but it's nowhere to be found (unless you want to spend 150 USD for it).
I'm totally OK with "minor" pieces to be hard to find or expensive but why is this particular extension so unfindable at a decent price? Even The Catapult is way easier to find than this.

If you do not care about the language, here is probably an edition of Devir from Spain.
Shipping to Italy is possible and payment e.g. via paypal.

All in all definitely cheaper than ebay&amazon and co.

PS: But better ask there if you are interested, whether it really is the C1 edition.

What are the chances that the version that will be displayed at the event will be different - even slightly - from the official October release?
In the latest video they said the development of the game is complete only to 98%...

These are pretty sure the final products.
Or to express it another way, the game is 100% finished, so would be strange if HiG would have taken older issues to the event.
Source: private mail exchange with HiG management on (01-09-22) - It was about another topic, but in a side sentence the full completion of the game was mentioned.

Malheureusement non.
ok, because otherwise I could have given it to you or someone you know maybe at the fair.
Do you actually want the whole game or just the river expansion?

Je suis intéressé. Quelqu'un accepterait- il de me l'envoyer en France ? le

Are you by any chance at the upcoming boardgame fair in Essen?

Here is the German board game shop I trust:

and another shop from germany that is well known and with cheap prices.

sorry, but before wrong expectations might be caused.
The newer cloth bag has also not been on sale from Hobbyworld for quite a long time.

Sorry, by bad. Didn't check the availability

Hey, no problem!
Thank you for your important corrections and thus your contribution to the WikiCarpedia.

Dear people,
my previous message was really serious - as a pasioned collector I have been watching a certain scene (which exploits our collecting passion for profit) for years.
But since everything is published here anyway, maybe I should have started this thread here myself, well Carlium meant well and also mentioned me as a source - therefore thanks @carlium & sorry, I had overreacted due to bad experiences.
I appreciate your important contribution to the community!

The well-known Ukrainian board game publisher "Arial"
has a Carcassonne clone in its program since a few hares:
There are two editions, which differ only in the presentation of the covers
Both editions are in Russian (both editions EAN:4820059911227)

1st Edition:  "Крепость"

The description translates as:
"Arial's Fortress board game, similar to Carcassonne"
And Arial is definitely not some unknown brand:

2nd Edition: "Крепость" (same content - but other box and maybe description - I have not translatzed the text yet)

Only the latest third edition has been localized into Ukrainian:  For example the gametitle: "Крепость" is now "Фортеця"
This "carcassonne 2.0" is availlable fpr purchase directly from the publisher.

About the exciting Carcassonne edition of the also well-known board game publisher "DankoToys", Carlium has already shared our results and his additional great research with the community in the entrance post.

If anyone would like scanned material from the first edition of Arial, I'd be happy to send them a link (I suspect it wouldn't be legal to post this here).

With best regards

Thanks for your post.
However, I would find it better if such posts were only visible to logged in members (that's why I told you about it in private chat, with my newer username LaPorxada).
I'll try to explain the reason:
In the last few years I noticed that whenever we fans were excited about, for example, the Russian promos and where you could get them, or even the Iranian first edition.....there was some crazy expensive offer on BGG (russ promos), Ebay (Iranian first edition) or even right here (Russian promos again) pretty quickly after that.
So we could keep our interest in rare, or freaky Carcassonian games that interest us a little bit to ourselves and help each other, but just maybe a little bit more private - but is just my opinion and I salute your post about this interesting edition of course anyway.

If you are interested in other Ukrainian editions from another manufacturer, feel free to write me or I can post the other editions here as well, if the post is only for registered users.

General / Re: Is C2 or C3?
« on: June 02, 2022, 12:36:50 PM »
Our previous assumptions regarding C3/C2 are more or less in line with the classification by HiG/CundCo.
The current tile list in the store was coordinated by Maik from the German forum with Andreas from HiG/CundCo.

From this follows:
Mini: The Peasant Revolts (2020)
Carcassonne Basic Game (2021)
Carcassonne BigBox (2021)
Mini: The Signposts (2021)
Mini: The Gifts (2021)
Mini: The Festival 3.0 (2022)
Mini: Castles in Germany 3.0 (2022)

Mini: Halflings (2020)
Mini: Cathedrals in Germany (2020)

By the way, the graphic artist of Cathedrals in Germany is Marcel Gröber (was confirmed to me via mail by Andreas from CundCo - interesting that this expansion is counted to C2 anyway)  ???

The jubilee edition is counted separately or here is a translation of the mail answer I received from Andreas@CundCo:

"The jubilee edition is an intermediate extra thing.
2.1 and 3.0 (C2 and C3) always applies only to the standard versions"

General / Re: New 50/100 tiles on Cundco
« on: June 02, 2022, 06:01:28 AM »
It's great, since the C2 versions were never available as standalone sheets, only C1 were  :yellow-meeple:

The "Carcassonne - 50/100 scoring tiles" on cundco-shop are C2 Sheets - I have got this informationen from cundco via mail.

I think the shop photo was now already corrected.
