A lot of thanks again to @Meepledrone again for the nicely and tricky constructed Advent Quiz. And thanks to all the WICA wizards who wrote down the helpful footnotes (I needed them quite a few times this year  ) And my congratulations to @corinthiens13 for keeping up your winning streak and @Challa007 for also answering the most questions correctly. Thanks for the offer of the Spiel '22 tile, but I already have 1, so it can go to one of the other participants.  I do have 1 question regarding question #24: is the majority of meeples in the vicinity of the Darmstadt church always decided at the beginning of scoring? Because I thought red could choose the order of scoring as active player, and thought it would be more interesting to score it as the last feature because the blue meeples in its vicinity would already be gone, thus earning the red player the 3-point bonus. However, even if that's the case I would still have the last question wrong. Thought the inn on the Spiel 22 tile was only counted if Expansion 1 is also in play. My bad!

I bought the 22 tile and mists over Carcassonne. It as 16 euros of shipping costs and I live only a few hours drive from where they send it Seems a bit much, but at least we'll have the 22 tile

I would have expected Catan to keep up with Carcassonne But maybe that's because it feels that Catan is more popular than Carcassonne in the Benelux. Not sure if it's the same everywhere.

Question #23: Danisthirty completes this city on Yellow's behalf. The player performs the following actions in 1. Placing a tile:
- Opening a Road Sweeper gift card on the occupied road
- Activating an "Add Meeple" symbol with the tile placement
The player decides to add a second Yellow Meeple to the city segment, and Danisthirty would like you to answer these two questions:
1) How many points does each player score? (0-5 points)
2) Instead of adding a second meeple to the city, could Yellow have added a second meeple to the road the player occupies? (0-1 points)
a) Yes, you can add a meeple to the road.
b) No, you cannot add a meeple to the road.
Answer #23: Let's answer each question...
1) Scoring the scenario:
Before placing the tile, the Road Sweeper card will trigger the scoring of the incomplete road occupied by Yellow. The player will score 2 points for it (2 tiles x 1 point/tile), and remove their meeple from the road. Note that the road is scored as if at the end of the game, so it receives no points for the German castle.
The tile completes a city occupied by Red and Yellow. Each player has two meeples in the city. Since both of them have meeples on hill tiles, the tie is not broken, no matter the number of meeples on hill tiles. Therefore, both players will score 15 points for the city (12 points for the city itself + 3 points for the German castle):
- 12 points for the city (6 tiles x 2 points/tile)
- 3 points for the German castle tile contributing to the city
2) Adding a meeple to the road:
Gift cards are opened before the tile is placed. So, the Road Sweeper gift card would remove the meeple on the road before the tile is placed. As a result, the "Add Meeple" action will not find a meeple on the road when activated in order to add a meeple next to it. Therefore, the answer is option b)
Bottomline:
1) Red will score 15 points
Yellow will score 17 points (2 points for the Road Sweeper gift card + 15 points for the city)
2) Option b): Yellow cannot use the "Add Meeple" action to add a meeple to the road, since it will be unoccupied when placing the tile.
I did not see red was on a hill as well, it was my chance to score 6 points....
