What "style" of competition do you prefer?

I would prefer to play in a single-elimination style tournament (this means you are "out" of the tournament after your first loss - so fewer games for most of us)
4 (26.7%)
I would prefer to play in a Swiss-style tournament (this means that each game is played against an opponent with a similar win/ loss record to you in the current tournament - but everyone plays the same number of games)
8 (53.3%)
I would prefer to play in a Round-Robin style tournament (this means that everyone has a single game against everyone else, but all games start at the same time so players will be required to switch between games)
2 (13.3%)
I would prefer something else (please describe below)
1 (6.7%)

24 members currently on BGA - If all agreed to play in a Round Robin tournament - 23 concurrent games would be mind-blowingly epic!

If I'm not mistaken 15 is the maximum number of players in case of a round robin tournament.
The solution could be a two-phase tournament: in the first phase the players would be divided into groups (the size of a group can't be larger than 15), playing round robin within the groups, and then the first x players advance to the 2nd phase of the competition where another round robin tournament can take place. I'm voting for this format. (It is supported by BGA.)

2 groups or 12. Best 7 of each into a winner take all group of 14. Bring it on.

Looks like it's going to be Swiss! Thanks to everyone who voted. I'll set something up on BGA and invite everyone from the group to join.
