... Because it's scored as soon as the turn starts, and I only considered the evaluation of the step 3, scoring a feature... What a mistake!

Agreed, but I got it wrong the other way round - included the 1 point, forgot about the +3!

And glad to read I'm not the only one who thought the wagon could only go to the tiles (or virtual tiles) surrounding it.

I thought the second clue meant that the mayor WAS blue ...

Thank you once again! I think I found an error in the description for Abbey: if it may have two rings around it, that would be 25 tiles (and thus 25 points), not 16!

The original Dutch version that I found contained ...

Hierdoor is een volwaardige abdij geen 9 punten waard, maar 16 punten (natuurlijk alleen als de abdij met 2 monniken is bezet, anders zijn er geen punten te verdienen).

so I just included the English translation as ...

Because of this, a full abbey is not worth 9 points, but 16 points (of course only if the abbey is occupied with 2 monks, otherwise no points can be earned).

in my document. However, I can add a note to my document about this for a future version. Thanks for spotting this inconsistency.

I've always been curious how those early fan-produced-and-sold tiles were made.

It would be a shame to throw them away though, and I'm not making a business out of this, so I hope they can look the other way just this once.

I agree it would be a shame to destroy them. Can you tell if the fan expansion tiles have been printed onto blank tiles, rather than being printed onto paper and then stuck on as an extra layer?

Thanks a lot! Maybe you have some idea what these four tiles are? They're not part of Eisenbahn, I just checked.

They look as if they've come from The Families by Frédéric Renaud, another of the expansions I identified as "missing" in my "missing expansions" document, although some of the tiles from the original expansion formed the basis of Family Feud which has seen several versions.

The last (unidentified) expansion is City Walls or Ramparts by Guido Kämmer, originally released as Stadtmauren. It can be found in the CarcC Downloads area.

Translated ...

"Hello everyone, I'm launching a little bottle into the sea, I'm looking for two files or I found photos on the net to be able to print them on tiles but impossible for me to find them in pdf or even whole because on one of the photo the tiles are cut! I know that one of the files comes from @Cookiemonster16 but the other one of the catapult in C2 impossible to know where it comes from (I would like to add it in C2 having already it in box C1) I thank you for your answers and maybe even for the files if someone has them."

I seem to recall that someone (here or CarcF?) tried to make C2 catapult tiles, however I think it may have been put on hold while waiting permission to do so from HiG.

You can search the Members List for cookiemonster16 and view all their posts. Doing so, led me to ...

Official Rules / Re: Over Hill and Dale - question regarding hiking

All of the spin-off rules (in English) are on Wikicarpedia ...

Still might not definitely answer your question. But it would be my understanding that you are correct with your interpretation.

As an aside, I'm not quite sure how the blue hiker managed to get onto that road (assuming these are the only tiles in play).

Interesting bit of wall in the top right corner of the 11th tile ...

I think I would also vote for option C.

I updated the page trying to explain this nuances. Let me know if I succedded, or some additional clarifications would be needed. I tried to keep the CAR convention.

I think that might be enough, but the table cells below the example may still need to be updated as they still say "1st score", '2nd score", '3rd score".

This might cause some confusion, as the three "editions" refer to different rules releases of the First Edition game release (artwork by Doris). It needs changing, yes, but maybe other terminology used throughout? "Release" or "Version"? It may have been based on the original CAR.
