And -- last time I checked -- it was just a bit over US$50 for Santorini and The Golden Fleece, including shipping, from Cool Stuff Inc. and Miniature Market. I plan to pick it up from one of those two stores once they're restocked, as I haven't found anything cheaper in the US.

A quick browse through eBay and it looks as though it's available mostly for between £80 and £200 but I won't be spending that kind of money. Is it already out of production due to popular demand or is there a chance I could still get hold of a copy?

Why would you start with eBay? It's £49.98 with free shipping on Amazon UK.

Don't want to pressure you Dan but it's worth every penny. O0

People who have this already: any personal favorite (or most interesting) gods (or heroes)? Just curious.

There are really too many that we haven't tried for me to have a preference.  I really dig Atlas' power so far.

Sad over here... I think I missed the boat on buying Santorini's first printing (at least at a decent price) while waiting on Clank! Sunken Treasures to do a combined order. Roxley says they're "hoping for" a reprint in the Fall, which means I might be waiting 18 months to get my hands on this one, unless I want to shell out $70 for it now. :(

Did you check the local game store?  Mine had a stack of 20 or so last time I was there.

That assumes you have a local store.

Not sure that Thailand is bursting with copies of Santorini!  ;D

Thailand is in my list of places to go, but I have never been. I know they are big into Chess.  This game could be popular there one day.

When was the last time you were there? And how much were they going for? And how much would it cost for you to send one to the UK? And did you know I REALLY think you're great? ;)

Last Tuesday.  I would look for you tomorrow, but we are supposed to get a ton of snow tonight.  No idea what the shipping would be as the game isn't heavy, but is bulky.

I think it was $50 for the base game.

Well, I went ahead and grabbed a copy on Amazon US for $43. It's about $10 more than I originally was going to pay for the game (or would likely pay if I waited), but I realized it was worth $10 to me to enjoy the game now rather than wait for up to 18 months for it. So excited to play this in May when my parents-in-law bring it.

I've got my eye on the Golden Fleece too, pending Clank! Sunken Treasures' exact release date (since I've got them on a combined order to save shipping).

As for Thailand, buying designer games here is usually very expensive. There's almost never a localized version, since Thais aren't really into designer board games (yet), so you're pretty much always paying a premium for importing. FLGS are few and far between. Having people bring stuff from the US is by far the best option I've thought of, unless dealing with game stuff that can fit in small packages (like ArtsCow decks or small orders from Cundco).

Also confusing is that some of the localized versions have been priced higher than the imported versions :/

Thanks dirk, but I think that is probably still a bit much for me, and I wouldn't want to put you to the trouble.

How is the situation with the snow?
