Well, as I read it, you can take points now by taking the top token from the tile, and then you get the amount as it says in the back of that token You keep the token in front of you Later, you can sell these tokens for the value as stated in the rules (so for instance if there's no more tokens, you can still do something when you play a tile next to a tree and place a meeple.

You can only take fruit if you place a tile next to the tree and place a meeple on that tile. I would say phantoms are a bit difficult, but id say they dont grand extra fruit. And flyers/portals wont either, as there is no tile placed next to the tree. Also, you can either take fruit, or sell previously harvested fruit, so even if there is still fruit, you can sell. And id say if there is no more fruit on a tree, you just wont get any fruit, but can still sell if you want

I would be interested in helping you with this, if there are no others that want the mini's. I already have this big box, but wouldn't mind to double up. If there are others that don't have them yet and want them, please let them have it first of course! And boardgameextras also have the abbots for 80p each, in all colours, but i guess that this would have the same consequenses as to order them from cundco And again, as i don't fall in the mentioned categories of players without the mini's or new contacts, i would of course want those to go first Just think of me as a back up

Got a big envelop over today from the Ukraine! It contained 2 self-assembly Carcassonne products: I bought these from Tower Rex on Etsy, and can highly recommend them! They've got a divider for in a standard Carcassonne box, that fits (almost) all large expansions (the Catapult doesn't get a spot) And a Travel box that fits the base game + the river and meeples. It is very similar to other dividers, like the Broken Token one, but easier in assembly i think, as it does not require any glue and is very well made. They've made little cuts in the connections, to make sure its extra strong! The divider has the expansion logo's engraved in to it, and fits all the tiles for these (just!) It is a very tight fit! and then in a box with all tiles: And the travel box is very cool! The top slides out, and is easy to open. And it comes with scoring tiles, so a big scoring track is not required I'm happy with them, and would recommend them to others as well

It's all the same as the normal base game. Only there is no scoring track, so the rules advise you to use a pen&paper. Other than that, there are now extra/different rules

Yep! Big thanks to both Rich and Tom! Had lots of fun, trying out quite a few games that were new to me, and some Ive played before. Travel back was better than expected, just over 2 hours drive, was perfect! Definitely worth a repeat one day!

We stumbled across this game last week at the Geek convention in Margate. It looked very nice, and in the end, my girlfriends dad and i decided to go half-and-half on it, and we bought it! We've tried it last sunday, and immediately played 4 games in a row with a group of 5 total, switching the person that it the ghost. We loved it! We played 2 more games yesterday, and it is still good! We won most of our games, but lost a couple to. Some before everyone was able to get to the last part, and some in the final vision. A very good game! I've heard there is an expansion pack for it as well, so im looking in to buying this now

Another interesting topic! I've always worked on the premise that visuals say everything. As in, if something connects in the artwork, it is connected. I use this often for farm connections, and also roads. For example this tile from Sheep and Hills. The rules clearly state the roads end here. My girlfriend always assumed it was not an ending. But in cases like this, I say that the visuals tell the tail! Regarding the CC1 tile, i've always found it weird that this would be 3 seperate roads. it has been discussed several times on the forum It came up here, and hereMost of the times someone will refer to the clarification of rules with HiG, found here. For me, this clarification does not make this clear. 'as usual a junction separates roads'. For me, this does not clearify, as i would not say its a junction on this (or the other shown) tile(s). I always keep to the rule that if the tile(s) show something is connected, it is. So continues roads are connected, connected cities are one, farms that go under a bridge are connected, etc. Following that rule, all the roads on the shown tiles are connected, except for the road leading up on the russian tile, as it is shown there is a big stone seperating the roads The Labyrinth has its own rules, but as all roads are visually connected on the tile, I would say they are connected, and the rules support this. To HiG, CC2 replaces CC1, so these kind of problems have been solved in this.
