It was confirmed by our Czech distributor Mindok - there will be a new big 10th expansion next year but only for a new redesigned Carcassonne. Not for the old one. More info is available at our Czech forum carcassonneforum.4fan.cz.

I will post any news about this here for English speaking users.

Really sad that the Carcassonne v1 wont get this big expansion too!

I thought that this expansion will be cathedrals in cities (I mean the catedrals with same rules as in 2nd expansion). Am I wrong?

You can order spiel 2014 essen promo card from cundco.de... but there is no darmstadt - I hope it will be there soon
