I found a guy on ebay-kleinanzeigen thats selling a near complete carcassonne collection:

Maybe we could all chip in a little bit and buy it all together and then redistribute it among the members. To be honest, it doesn't feel terribly expensive, considering what they got.

I'd like to buy the Tunnels, but shipping to the US for just that expansion may not be worth the effort of whoever receives this.

Will be a tough one to divide everything and determine the price for it.
We could make a pricelist for the whole collection, coming to the total costs of it (€345 + shipping) and then post it here?
And do you/we go by first come, first serve? What do you think of it Halfling?

That price assumes that every piece is sold. Until then I am out of pocket. In reality I will be left with some unpopular items such as bridges castles and bazaars. As it stands it looks like I am only shifting about half a dozen or so rarest items.

An alternative would be that I set a reasonable set of prices and then invite offers per item. Those already expressing specific interest being contacted first. An offer over my reasonable price gets the item. Otherwise I move on to the next persons offer.

This does pre suppose that the items arrive and I don't lose €400+

It's completely up to you, as you take the risk.
There's 8 base games (in different formats) and 42 expansions (not counting the stickers), so even if you sell everything for 10,- + shipping, you should be able to at least break even soon.
Just about every item on there goes for more than that, so I think it shouldnt be too hard getting your money back from it.
I'd say on ebay etc you should be able to sell most of the things that people here already have.

Again it's totally up to you

Wouldn't it be easier/cheaper to have it sent to somebody in Germany since this guy sells from Germany (who lives in germany? kettlefish? who else?) and they could redistribute it cheaper?
Hell, for the cathars I'm even willing to drive to Germany and pick it up myself!
