No. My copy from Z-MAN has the correct tiles. Only the first print run for the German language version has those errors.
Thanks

Hi Everyone,
I while ago I saw a thread about how Bridges, Castles & Bazaars for the German New Edition had in it incorrect tiles. Does anyone know if the English New Edition version also has incorrect tiles?
Thanks for your help! :)

Your Wikicarpedia looks very promising to me.
There were some people on the forum a little bit back talking about having 2 separate CARs (one for the original artwork and one for the new artwork) and I think it would be a good idea to do the same for your Wikicarpedia.

Also, do you plan on copying directly from the CAR to start or is it going to be written from the ground up?

I know this doesn't exactly answer your question but Cundco has a spare parts service (https://cundco.de/en/spare-parts/13/tiles) that you could order a replacement tile from if you aren't able to get the dot off.

If they're celebrating the city's listing as a UNESCO site shouldn't it be kept looking like what it did when it was listed? To me, this just seems counter-intuitive

The Z-Man games' website now lists Carcassonne expansions 6&8 as At The Printer" :).

Hi all,

I just got a look into the new Big Box and got a good deal for it.
But when I came home and was counting all I started to find something weird.

I found out that I had 6 colors of meeples (pink one instead of the grey one..)
and for all of those is that new abbot figure there,
but there were only 7 normal small meeples in there.

Do they count the abbot as one of your 8 meeples?

I have the Big Box 2017 as well but mine did come with 8 meeples + an abbot for each colour so I assume something went wrong during the packaging of your copy.

I'm kind of confused by what you mean when you said "Drawing and playing an additional tile in the middle of the meeple placement stage is not exactly ideal" as it seems to me you have already done your meeple placement step when you took back your abbot as that is an option you can take instead of placing one of your meeples.

In the Big Box 2017 the rules state the turn sequence as follows:

Step 1. Place A Tile
Step 2. Place A Meeple
Or Remove And Score The Abbot
Step 3. Score A Feature
Move Your Scoring Meeple Or Messenger Along The Scoreboard

If I finish a city in step 1, get a message in step 2 when scoring the abbot , I have not yet reached step 3 and scored the city I finished. Am I supposed to let the message I get in step 2 to wait until the end of step 3?

If you look at page 24(the back page of the rulebook) it says that the drawing of messenger tiles happens during step 4 which occurs after scoring(step 3)

Goods tokens

Things That Were Incorrect In Other Posts C:-)
Messanger (this was mentioned in Just a Bill's and kettlefish's posts as a woman meeple but is just called a "messenger" in the Big Box rules
Witch (spelt as "whitch" in kettlefish's post

You seem to of forgotten the Big Top and the Animal Tokens(The ones with animal and a number on them)
Ahh - thank you - I will update my postings.
Just a couple of other things I've thought of; I think that Count, King & Robber comes with scoreboard tokens* (to keep track of how big the largest city /road was) as well as tiles (to keep track of who built the largest city/road)

*I think this might just be for Carc 2 (which is obviously the topic of this post)

I encountered a problem while playing with both The Abbot and The Messengers.
It goes like this:

-I play a tile that finishes my city.
-Instead of placing a meeple on that tile I remove the abbot from a garden on the other side of the board and score points.
-The points I score move my scoring meeple to a dark space. This triggers a message.
-I take a message that says "Draw and play an additional tile".

Drawing and playing an additional tile in the middle of the meeple placement stage is not exactly ideal. What am I supposed to do?

Hi, Sulaine welcome to the forum!

I forgot to mention it here but I did end up getting the Big Box and I would say it's worth it for just for the Mini Expansions if you able to get it!

Hi guys,

Looking for the above in the Matthäus style. This timeless game has become an exhilarating obsession of late! I'm also from Australia so I hope that does not put any prospective sellers off. I'm willing to be absolutely scalped for shipping as we're used to getting overcharged down here... I'm also new to this forum, so let me know if I should be splitting these WTBs into separate posts or if I should be using more emojis to emphasise how excited I am etc.

Regards,

Hi, I don't know if Cundco.de ships to Australia but you can order still School and Meeple sets over there.
or maybe someone can reship it to your place.
I'm from Australia and I can confirm that Cundco ships here but it is quite expensive for non-letter items and the time it takes to arrive is upwards of two weeks.
I hope this helps :)
