Minis League: Final round

Many thanks MrNumbers for arranging another tournament for us. It is very much appreciated, and hopefully a fun experience for everyone involved!

It's a shame that not all games were played (especially for Rosco who missed out on the final round completely because of this), and that there were often long gaps between games which held up progress. But life can be unpredictable at times, and while it's often hard to be patient and fair to everyone involved I think you have always acted well in the favour of the majority of people. So thanks again for that!

I'm really pleased to have won a second tournament this year and look forward to seeing the post-league Elo scores when they are available! I'd also like to recognise Leven who ALSO completed this tournament without a single loss

I found the Goldmines seemed to make the biggest difference in the majority of my games... (plus of course the CC2 tiles, especially the pitch fork ones)

That's absolutely right! However, the effect of gold bars does not translate to a point until the end. Fliers cause real-time nervousness. So many times in a game I asked myself, "Did he just land a mayor in my 30-point city?" .
